Are We All To Die When CERN Sort Themselves Out?
Madame Defarge replied to xzandra's topic in DeathList Forum
As paranoia grows about intense gravity sucking in CERN, hurricanes and tornadoes barreling toward Texas, and worst of all, the prospect that Mr. Josco is about to reveal himself to be Zuul, minion of Gozer in a minute or two.....I was thinking. If any of you were planning on giving me some small token of your esteem for Christmas, such as sexy pictures of Russell Crowe, or summat, why wait? Best get to googlin' now, while the sun shines. -

Nothing. Unless , of course, Guest is a visitor from the current administration. In which case he has exhibited an astonishing improvement in reading and comprehension skills by recognizing that both Obama and Oscar begin with an "O".

President Yar’Adua is currently in hospital in Saudi Arabia, his condition is said to be "serious". Thanks once again for the update, but....the way things are going I expect him to make a miraculous discovery, relapse on New Year's Eve, and then pop his clogs on January 1. -

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOSCO -
So they could shoot it with a regular gun, but not a tranquilizer? I can bearly believe that. What a grizzly ending. Etc. I think they Pooh-Poohed that idea. Surely having eaten all the hunny, the bear of very little brain would have gone halfway up the stairs for a nap? This does not bode well for piglets Entirely Surrounded by Water.

American Football Players
Madame Defarge replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
I won't be miisssing him. Sure he was good player, decent even but I can't see what all the fanfare was about him. If he and his Packers were so great then why didn't they make it to the Super Bowl? Oh, that's right The Giants Won, The Giants Won! Hopegully Favre will a good and happy future as a sportscaster (that seems to be where they all end up) As they say about every sport except lacrosse and kabaddi, it's a funny old game. Not only has Brett unretired, it's just about possible he could be spending his unretirement as the starting QB for the Green Bay Packers. Edit: Sure, it's only sport, but this whole sad saga is beginning to depress me. In another type of football, definitely quitting is Bobby Moore's #6 West Ham shirt. They don't retire jerseys outside North America very often, do they? The horror... -
Cheer up Dev, at least Phil Drabble won't have to witness the onrushing calamity. I am happy really, more importantly than anything Exeter are back in the league!! Sorry for the doom mongering everyone, maybe this thread should lie dormant for fifty years, then we can revive it and see how we're doing. That's if the floodwaters haven't got the DL servers by then... But what conclusions will be drawn by visiting extraterrestrials if the DL servers are the only things that survived the flood?
