    Tony Hart

Cast of Vision On Apart from Sylvester McCoy (or "Sylveste" if you prefer), anyone know what's become of them? Tony Hart will be 80 in October, and hasn't been on our screens for some time. Not a lot of IMDB info on Wilf Lunn (a.k.a. "Wilfred Makepiece Lunn") or Pat Keysell. Haven't a clue which one played the white-coated Professor. There must be a site out there somewhere...

    Roy Scheider

Don't forget "All That Jazz" Bob Fosse's semi-autobiographical classic in which Scheider plays a dying choreographer looking back on his life's excesses - an absolute tour de force of a performance. The dance scenes in the operating theatre are mind-blowing! Keep battling, Roy!

    Crew Of USS Enterprise

aluren bacall? Was she a Harpy? More to the point, don't think aluren or Lauren ever appeared in Star Trek, so what's she doing in this thread?! Born 16 Sep 1924, by the way

    A great inventor

Sorry to be pedantic (it seems to be a common trait on here), but surely people had sat in front of the TV eating their dinners before this man came along with his idea, so to say he "invented the TV dinner" is misleading.

    has anyone famous posted?

Wasn't there some MP who posted a while ago when he found his name on this site. Of course, as you suggest, it could have been a fake posting.

    has anyone famous posted?

There was someone a while ago, supposedly. Have to check it out. Not quite the same thing, but there was the humorous incident where Richard Pryor's missus said that he got pissed off with people ringing to check if he was dead yet! Posted it before, but here it is again: Not dead yet! Maybe he'll give our site a nice name-check one day soon

    Gretchen Franklin

A very capable actress. Saw her in an episode of "Rising Damp" just the other night playing Rigsby's aunt. The episode was from 1978 and she hardly looked any different! I remember she also played a very good minor part in the very first episode of "The Black Adder" (i.e. "Blackadder" series 1, episode 1) as one of 3 witches.

    Bernard Matthews

btw, I scored a google-whack with that one! Bernard Matthews / Pete Burns

    Bernard Matthews

Well, what do you know?! I've just been on one of those lyric sites and found the original lyrics for the song. I think we may be onto something here: Yeah I, I got to know your name Well and I, could trace your private number baby All I know is that to me You look like you're bootiful Open up your juicy thighs I want some, want some Well I...I set my sights on you (and no one else will do) And I, I've got to have my way now, baby All I know is that to me You look like you're bootiful Open up your juicy thighs Watch out, here I come You truss me right up, baby right up like a turkey, baby Right up gobble gobble You truss me right up, baby Right up like a turkey, baby Right up gobble gobble I, I got be your friend now, baby And I would like to move in Just a little bit closer (little bit closer) All I know is that to me You look like you're bootiful Open up your juicy thighs Watch out, here I come (*Repeat) gobble! gobble! gobble! gobble! (**Repeat)

    Bernard Matthews

In response to your question, the lead singer of "Dead or Alive" was NOT Bernard Matthews, but Pete Burns. I'm not sure where your confusion arises, unless it's something to do with being trussed up like a turkey...

    Michael Barrymore

I was over in New Zealand earlier this year and noticed he was keeping himself busy (in a fairly low-key fashion - well, we are talking about New Zealand!) by appearing over there: Michael Barrymore in NZ
