Never heard of him myself, but like his quotes! Just to clear things up, then: Mitch Hedberg

Nor me. However, I have to be impressed with his c.v. I doubt if any other actors appeared in both "Dixon of Dock Green" and "Dharma and Greg"!
-
... having checked IMDB further, I think your confusion can be explained. "Hell's Bells" featured a character called Dean Selwyn Makepeace who was played by the late Derek Nimmo Hell's Bells

The Vicar in Dad's Army was played by Frank Williams - born in 1931 and still with us. It would appear that your Mr. Bond had a small role in one episode as a "Minister". Selwyn Froggitt was most definitely played by Bill Maynard.

Just thought this was somewhat amusing! Didn't have the Death List (or the Internet for that matter) in 1954... Not such a near miss!

Talking of which Audrey Callaghan

Larry Bunker... DRUMMER! Be afraid, be very afraid (especially if your nickname is "sticks") BTW, what ever happened to the guy of that moniker from the "Double Deckers?"

IYG, my mouse died on my birthday* and I've never quite come to terms with it. I hope you have managed to move on following what must have been devastating news. * This was a long time ago, pre-Death List, but I suspect he would not have been classed as famous enough anyway

And this isn't much better: Kimi Raikkonen hurts his thumb Ayrton will be spinning in his grave! Used to be able to rely on Formula 1 for this sort of thing before they started getting picky about safety!

Mine's got to be Danny Invincible, although I seem to remember a Delroy Hercules a few years ago Sorry, digressing from the subject there!
-
At a spritely 96, you might have something there! Was still working quite regularly in the 1990s. Eddie Albert biog

This refers back to the post on Malcolm Hardee. Yes, I too remember those guys doing the balloon dance on "The Tube" and other shows in the 80s Reading his obit, he was obviously quite a whacky and subversive character! This picture might help to jog other people's memories
-
He won't be schmeling very nice soon, then!

"I realise how things can come to an end without being able to prepare, so I want to live my life as fully as possible while I'm able" ... I think we'd all better watch our backs! Good to have you back, Marc! Best wishes

Oh dear, Sasha Baron Cohen, look what you've started now!

...and another one: Sir Nicholas Scott

Not so sure Bill Maynard's exactly "going strong" (see below) - I gave him a plug for the 2005 list last October. IMDB bio You will notice that his current wife is the widow of (pre-Death List casualty) Donald Campbell (file under "what a way to go!").

Although often associated with Aus (and she may very well have one of their passports), Pamela Stephenson is actually a Kiwi by birth, having been born in Takapuna, Auckland
