    Deathlist - The Band

Oh dear - Ive been trying to leave this thread alone - like a good "liberal nazi sympathizer" However, I've have been unable to resist the temptation to find out more about Death List (the band). http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/deathlist/deathlist777.html It seems that Death List were a Christian Death Metalcore band - although they appear now to have split. Good to see they've still got a quality fanbase though

Lol Little Sister Now where did I put my shotgun... Nuff said

Just remember - never eat a dubious looking piece of Gouda that arrives in the post

    Richard O'Sullivan

Apologies Yeti for the removal of your message - it was imaculated translated - however once the other message was gone its relevance faded somewhat. Clearly another "Irate Visitor" breezing through but we have to keep some of order here. Im thinking of starting a thread about troublesome threads - Carr/Huntley, Ronnie Reagan, Richard O'Sullivan...where will it end?
  5. Grim Reaper

    Ronald Reagan

Well sadly your posts are pretty off-topic so thats why we may have to prune history in a good ol' commie way. Thanx for your views anyway
  6. Grim Reaper

    Clive Dunn

Well Phil, we have never been contacted by anyone who has ever been on DeathList - I would imagine that some candidates might (understandably) not take it in the spirit that it is intended, but as Teddy suggests - actions speak louder than words

    People in this death list

An intriguing comment Mr/Ms ---------. Although this is Mr Stats' territory, I think Im pretty conifdent of the ages on the 2004 list. It is certainly possible that there is the odd error on earlier lists. If you care to give us a clue then we will investigate further... ...or is this an evil hoax in the hope that we would spend several days checking our data

    Ronnie Wood

This news was on the front of a few English national newspapers yesterday. Unfortunately the main prediction that Ronnie makes is that he should have died in 1978. Frankly with predictions as far out as that I simply dont think Woods can be considered a reliable predictor of his demise - but you're right Teddy - worth keeping an eye on

Thanks for your intelligent contribution Necrophile - You've won me over with your eloquently constructed argument. Nice name too by the way. Read this topic while you can people - it may well be on its way to deletion/pruning.

    Clive Dunn

Well this needs a bit of reserach for a full answer, but Teddy you are absolutely right. It was me who insisted that Clive Dunn be included on the first DeathList in 1987 and Ive been keenly sticking by him ever since. Even though its starting to look as if he might be immortal I'll be voting for him every year.

    How very, VERY frustrating!

Interesting question Catherine - one for Mr Stats really but i'll step in: Pre-1995 was a little vague so since then: 23 June 1996 - 19 Feb 1997 241 days 28 Aug 2000 - 20 Feb 2001 176 days 4 Sep 2002 - 5 Mar 2003 182 days 28 Sep 2003 - Today (9 Mar 2004) 163 days Clearly the current spell is starting to turn into a drought. Im off now to start that rain dance...

    World's Strongest Man

Stats - although it was few years ago dont overlook Owen Hart who excitingly feel to his death live on TV. Another wrastler in the news Jake "the Snake" Roberts... www.thisislondon.com/news/articles/9329278?source=PA I guess starving his snake to death doesnt put him in any immediate danger but there's surely gonna be a few pythons mighty mad at him out there.

    Alex Higgins for 2005?

DWB - I thought you were referring to "Tad" Striker but then I remembered... Airplane 2 - a Tad is defined as "90 million miles (off course) and we're heading straight for the sun" Seems to sum it up well
  14. Grim Reaper

    Alistair Cooke

I read the same news Arnold, however your detailed analysis does put this into sharp focus. Sounds like time to start thinking of that first witty headline of the year...
  15. Grim Reaper

    Ian Huntley / Ma><ine Carr

Well Grim Reaper finally has to swing his scythe. This topic is well and truly off topic and out of control. This forum is primarily for discussions about www.deathlist.net and related warblings and not the rights and wrongs of the British justice system etc. This topic is therefore now closed to any new postings.
  16. Grim Reaper

    Ian Huntley / Ma><ine Carr

There appears to be some interest in the friendly Soham couple Ian Huntley and Ma><ine Carr for nominations to the 2004 list. I have to agree there appear to be plenty of options for both of them eg nasty accident in prison, suicide bid etc. but if I was a gambling man Id be backing them both to see 2005 - the start of it at least. They do have the attraction of adding some new younger blood to the DeathList but for me thats not enough. Anyone with any other thoughts on this one?

You just cant trust what u see on TV these days - perhaps the internet is now a better source of reliable information
  18. Grim Reaper

Johnnie Walker - how's he doing?

Well spotted DWB - frankly the 149 visitors made me a little nervous - but our provider held up admirably. Lets not point the finger at Rikki or Pat fans without any evidence. Im more concerned that Stephen Hawking has been reading up about Denial of Service attacks.
  19. Grim Reaper

    Alex Higgins for 2005?

Well Sean - We consider that Alex will last through 2004 so lets hope he doesnt go out in style for a while.
  20. Grim Reaper

    How very, VERY frustrating!

Ferryman you are correct - the idea is to predict deaths for the year before it starts however there are credibility points to be won on here for spot forthcoming deaths - no doubt that's what DWB is shooting for As for the 2004 so far - well I dont feel so bad about the lack of success - really there havent been any big name deaths this year...so far. A quick review of the DeathLine shows that there have been plenty of slow starts to years - but Im sure we'll hit a spate of major deaths at some point in the year. Keep the faith!
  21. Grim Reaper

    Chapman Pincher

Well Im not sure about that. I hear Cowboy Ronnie is lying low for a while as its too wild out here!
  22. Grim Reaper

    Richard O'Sullivan

Well I accidently caught an episode of Robin's Nest on tv a few days. The doc has given me a prescription and advised me to take it easy for a few days. Apparently most viewers eventually make a full recovery. He also mentioned that most health insurance policies dont cover inadvertant viewings of Man about the House - so you have been warned. http://www.nostalgiacentral.com/tv/comedy/robinsnest.htm
  23. Grim Reaper

    Chapman Pincher

Well as I have said before, the site's primary objective is not to offend however by its nature it may offend some. Unfortunately a site predicting celebrities we think will survive the whole year just doesnt quite have the same attraction. Chapman has only appeared on the list once - in 2001 - so in fact we now also have full confidence in his longevity and I wish him all the very best.
  24. Grim Reaper

Johnnie Walker - how's he doing?

Ooh well observed DWB! The answer is there are only 37 members currently, however we had to cull a few strange new members a few weeks ago . They never posted and all had weird names. It may have been the start of some hack attack from a disgruntled Pat Roach fan! So The Yeti is the 51st member to be sign up but there are 14 dead members. Lets hope I dont have to swing my sickle again!
  25. Grim Reaper

    Ronnie Barker

In fact far from dropping off his perch there's a new Two Ronnies series on the way: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/3489657.stm I cant help thinking of Roy Orbison who made a big comeback with the Travelling Wilburys and then promptly dropped dead... And its goodnight from him
