Welcome! You are quite right he is worthy and has his own thread. When you have a little more time to explore you'll find a search function in the top right (second one in just below the black banner), which you can use to look up your favourite pelebrities. Hope you like what you see and if you could so kindly find your way to locating the caps lock button, then your contributions will be more highly accommodated. Thanks.

Congratulations VT! And so it came to pass. Here endeth the sweepstake. A shrewdly chosen date. Mothers day and sunday pull outs a-gogo I guess? Are tickets for the funeral being handled by ticketmaster with the usual hefty booking fees? And no I don't feel remorseful. If she hadn't stirred up such a media circus and died with dignity then yes but she really didn't swing the sympathy vote with me.

I think there are some of the DLers might be good at predicting the news. Unfortunately this spoilsport website has suspended certain predictions. Which reminds me is Jade Goody listed on celebdaq (if that is still going)?

Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?
Monoclinic replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
May I refer you to the official DL massacre rules as drawn out by CR and MPFC D'ya know what, I haven't a f*****g clue when 'murder' crosses the line to 'massacre,' I suppose someone could carry out an experiment............. Or we could agree anything over 5 deaths. I suppose the proof will be in the newspaper headlines themselves if e.g. only four or five people die in the next school shooting. I'd say double figures is definitely a massacre, four or five may be a bit low. The winner of the contest has to find a credible publication using the word. And the US is the low hanging fruit on this one, given they have about one a month. Hard to believe, what with there being nearly as many guns as humans in the country. -

I'm hearing conflicting reports on this. On one hand, several sources seem very "certain" that Natasha Richardson is all but brain dead and that her death is inevitable. On the other hand, other sources are claiming she is just suffering from a swelling on the brain and that things are not as bad the media hypes. However, I have not read anywhere where the family themselves have confirmed that it was a mere "swelling of the brain." So far, the only sources I got the swelling of the brain rumor from is TMZ (of all places). TMZ claims they got the information from the hospital in Canada. However, if it is indeed true that Natasha is only suffering from a swelling of the brain, why hasn't the hospital informed all other media outlets? I'm not saying you're wrong maryfunportcity. For what it's worth, you could very well be correct -- perhaps this is all one big tease and Natasha Richardson's head injury, although serious, is not life threatening and she can well make a full recovery. Frankly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this is all one big tease -- especially in light of all the celebrities these days who allegedly are dying, but appear to still be alive or even made full recoveries (e.g., Travis Barker, DJ AM, Michael Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Kelsey Grammar, Jade Goody, etc.). Let me just say I'm really pissed off at the way the media handled all this, especially from places like FoxNews and NY Post. Why the hell did they jump the gun? Are they really trying to exploit our morbid fascination with dying/dead celebrities for their own financial gain? It's disgusting the way they handled this. It's not the hospital's job to be a press liaison officer reporting the status of any given patient. I was under the belief that there was a concept called doctor patient confidentiality. Tease or not, I must admit to not knowing who she is (as I'm sure you're all too well aware, I am not one for pelebritydom) and am still none the wiser. It's not going to change my life. I'm happy to continue being ignorant. I know we are guilty with this deathwatch website but it's got me thinking how the rise of media outlets has made us dependent on having minute by minute accounts of critically ill yet famous people. I think it detracts from those poignant 'and also' stories "in tribute of X who died today", you know the ones that make you go oh that's a shame. I guess what I'm saying is I have the upmost respect to those who chose to be ill or die in private and Jade's getting on my wick.

The Government makes a lot of profit off of cigarettes and quitting, which quitting among society in the passed ten years has increased, gives them less profit. The idea would be making the alternative to quitting more expensive so the profit is retained. There are growing populations in the sub-continents and smoking is rife. The tobacco companies have a guaranteed market out there; I don't think they're too bothered about the "West". After all, the effort they need to guarantee a quality fag, required in the "First World", doesn't even exist out there. Large® profits all round. I can confirm that having gone through two rounds of interviews for British American Tobacco. They did mention it on one or two occasions. Probably not the best company to work for if you want to avoid the big C. The offices were smoking zones so literally you'd have to step outside for a breath of fresh air. Don't think they were daft enough to extend that to the labs. This was a few years ago now but for the western market they kept harping on about Swedish snus, which on seeing the pictures holds even less appeal now.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2009
Monoclinic replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Look away now if you don't want a solution to level 18 That'll serve me right for wasting time earlier. I've just had to redo the 18 levels on my home computer to get that far! There is undoubtedly more than one solution. Hope this helps. Edit - I've unlocked inferno! That's another 30 or so minutes of my life I'll never get back. Thanks honez. What's next? -
...and her accent. Although you'd have thought Jade's had plenty of practise speaking with plums in her mouth.

I really do hate you for bringing this game to my attention. If I introduced it to Fraserburgh, it could replace heroin. Ditto, I got to level 5 before ashamedly realising that I should at least try to look busy or blow up a lab. Seeing as I didn't manage either in the elapsed time, perhaps I'll crack on with level 5 before I turn to crack. Edit - 40 minutes later, God knows how many of which have been dedicated to level 29 whose triangles are giving me serious grief. Someone wake up Australia and ask honez where the superglue function is. -

Shouldn't woodlocked actually be with a W, or are you showing non-capitalised solidarity honez?

1) Learn to spell properly - people make take you more serious that way. 2) Hoping that something bad happens to us is just as "sick", if not more considering most of the members here probably work hard and ultimately make less money than Goody who earns millions from doing absolutely nothing other than appearing on Big Brother and becoming ill. 3) If you don't like what you read, go somewhere else. Thanking you. ms woodlocked's piece has the poise and elegant construction of a Shakespearian sonnet compared to some of the mob congregated on that Bebo page. Ladies and Gentlemen, for those that might have missed it, i give you the sincere outpourings of "Teardrops On My Guitar X" "Tbh C If You Dnt Like Jade Then Y Daa Fuk Are U On This ??.x C If U Know How It Feels To Have Cancer Or To Know Sumwun U love Dieing A Cancer Then Uul Know How She Fells Yaa Dick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!x A Hope U Get Struck Wae A Bolt A Lightning And Goo Die Thu same Daii This Poor Girl Dies a Cancer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!x Feel Soo Sorry For Uu Jade <3 x Love You Jade <3 xxx A Hope Uu Doo Get Bettah If Possible xxxxxxxxxxxxx" if anyone could translate that little lot id be grateful... they should stick the english language in the box with Goody when she goes... It reminds me of an empathy essay I wrote in school. I can't remember the title (I'm over 27) but it had to be written as if seen through the eyes of Boo Radley (To kill a mockingbird), perhaps a journal. I must thank Ms Woodlocked for reminding me just how lucky I have been to be sent to an excellent school (a comprehensive may I add). My heartfelt apologies go out to you Josephine. I realise not all of us are born with such luck nor the gifts of sight and hearing to benefit from the education provided for us all for nothing.

She has in fact got seconds to live. Perhaps she might care to spin out those seconds, anywhere between 1,480,860 to 1,567,259.5 seconds should do it. (Calculated at 20.39 GMT based on a prediction of 02 APR 09)

One thing that I don't get, probably through not following closely, is this curfew. If Jack Tweed is now married to this Goody girl why does he always have to "break his curfew" to be at her side? Why can't the curfew be imposed at her home with his wife? Thus enforcing him to stay by her side instead of eating pizza with friends or whatever banality the Goody watch journos see fit to print today.
