As long as he doesn't make another movie ....or more dreadful insurance adverts! Calm down dear! It's only a mouse-o-leum.

Didn't she get her tits out in that one? Not that anyone could tell.......

This article suggests the US might actually be considering trying to shoot down the missle which the mischievous N. Koreans are threatening to launch this week. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13450911/ Now, I'm no rocket scientist, but from the news reports I've seen the past few years it seems the Americans thus far have barely been able to hit any of their own test missiles, and they presumably know when those ones are going to be launched and where they're headed. Let's hope by the time they do figure out how to shoot down an enemy missile Messrs. Cheney and Rumsfeld will have long since left the building.

Wow, Khameini's still Ayatollah. He needs to grow a longer beard and darken his eyes if he wants to properly put the shakes into the Great Satan. He's more like Emperor Palpatine when everyone knew he had turned bad, but wasn't yet hiding his face in a cloak.
-
Is there an Ayatollah at the moment? I mean, a main one, running the show in Iran, like Khomeini? It all got a little confusing after he was succeeded by Khamenei. A bit like how in Lord of the Rings there was Sauron and Saruman. Except the Ayatollahs were probably eviller.

Woah, fancy new look for the DL. Impressive. Cory Smoot, guitarist of death thrash band GWAR (not sure if I'd heard of them), pulled the old rock 'n' roll classic "die on the tour bus of unknown causes, but we can be pretty sure it was drug and/or alcohol related". http://music.uk.msn....of-cory-smoot-8 Apologies if this was posted elsewhere, still trying to find my way around the site. Edit to add....and there it is, in the pop stars thread, posted yesterday by Space Cooley. Oh well.

Ideas And Possibilities For 2012

I've tried the Search function without much success, so apologies if he's already been suggested. Former Labour spin doctor Philip Gould's prospects sound a bit bleak: Philip Ghould? -
Maybe an Apple a day will keep the doctor away. Plus medical science and all that. Feb 29th.

Apparently he was experiencing some behavourial problems before he died. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-12805534 Experts think he may have been bi-polar. Check please!

This bit of news is taylor-made for a DL headline.

Your Least Impressive Celebrity Encounters

Last night I played football with Ralf Little out of Two Packs of Lager and a Pint of Crisps. Had no idea who he was until someone mentioned it after. -
As with any fantasy football contest, the key was to pay just enough, but not too much attention, and hope the good lucky breaks outnumber the bad ones.

One of the BP villains - Tony Hayward or that old Swedish guy who's based on the baddie from The Spy Who Loved Me. Topping themselves out of guilt, or killed in some sort of karmically-justified drowning. Or blown up in an oil rig inferno.
-
Interesting that the good looks of the WAGS seem to be in direct relation with the talent of the football team their husband or boyfriend plays for. Italian, Dutch, Spanish or German players are dating complete foxes, the Aussie and England players are with, by comparison, swamp donkeys.

I guess this means they'll be laying Cable in a few days.

...and it's going to close again, for up to a year. Something about quenches. LHC needs some TLC Not that it will make the slightest bit of difference to anyone except the scientists robbing us all blind by taking a salary off it. After all, it's just an empty tube. -
And the "deadline" on the DL will be..... [Drumroll] .................... All together now............

Yay, that's my favourite ever episode of the Simpsons. The old guy (Chester J Lampwick) spends the money he receives for being the creator of Itchy & Scratchy to buy a rocket car and a solid gold house, two items to which I shall always aspire.

Golf: The 19th Hole
Cowboy Ronnie replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList Forum
I'd agree to the extent that if Tiger's wife looked more like his mother than Grace Kelly, the prurient interest level factor in this story would drop dramatically. -
I always thought Sundown was kind of a creepy song, rife with the levels of bitterness and paranoia of Wild World.

Apparently Tiger is returning to his sex addiction therapy clinic after speaking sort of publically later today. What's the cure for sex addiction - photoshopped pics of Maggie Thatcher and Madeleine Albright in bikinis? -
It would have been more fitting had he been competing in the skeleton event...

You've got to say it Gone out of fashion Here's another article, which I post solely because it mentions the woman who apparently discovered Alexander McQueen. Fashion director and magazine editor Isabella Blow, whose name works on so many levels it approaches you couldn't make it up territory. Regicide
