Harrods???? Isn't that that expensive store over in Londonville? What type of idiot drunkard is he? A proper drunkard knows to buy his liver brine from the low cost bins (labels torn or missing) at the lower class liquor stores. Or don't they have liquor stores in England? I shall miss sauteed shallots with scallops and Gerry as welll. Hopefully they will find him soon-maybe playing music in the local underground stations. At any rate my M, my D, and some other keys are stickking since I spilled the syrup and my u and o are still popping off and after a browse around I will pop out of here again. BRUNO!! Tarry awhile and engage in banter, good to see you. Eugh!! Someone tell me where the blood came from please??

Im on a bit of a quest to track down ex Emmerdale Farm cast members this week. I recently saw an advert on tv starring Jean Rogers AKA Dolly Skillbeck racing around in a stannah stairlift and it got me to thinking... Did,nt Matt Skilbeck become a monk after he left the show? And now it seems Amos Brierley has died: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6983016.stm

Why? Is there something you're not telling us? OK, how about *Frazer Hines (born 22 September 1944, Horsforth, Leeds, Yorkshire) is a British actor best known for his roles as Jamie McCrimmon in the BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who, and Joe Sugden in Emmerdale. At the age of eight, after studying acting at the Corona Stage Academy, he made his acting debut. He was thirteen when he appeared in Charlie Chaplin's A King in New York (1957) and by the age of fifteen, he had appeared in six films. In 1960 he appeared in the eight-part serial The Young Jacobites. His television roles included Jan in The Silver Sword (1957-8), Tim Birch in Emergency Ward 10 (1963-4), and Roger Wain in Coronation Street (1965). In Doctor Who he played the part of Jamie McCrimmon, a companion of the Second Doctor, from 1966 to 1969 as well as reappearing in The Five Doctors (1983) and The Two Doctors (1985). Though much of his work on Doctor Who has been lost, he appeared in more episodes than any other actor, save for those playing the first four Doctors. In terms of screen-time, he is easily the longest-serving co-star, although Nicholas Courtney appeared regularly over a greater number of years. This phenomenon is due to the fact that during the 1960s, the show had a much higher episode count than in the 1970s and 1980s. After his three-year stint as Jamie in Doctor Who he resumed the life of a jobbing actor until 1972, when he was cast in the soap opera Emmerdale Farm as Joe Sugden — a role he played until 1994. In between making episodes of Emmerdale, as it was renamed in the 1980's, he has continued a career in the theatre and made occasional appearances in other TV shows Nothing much else to discuss then * taken from wiki Thats the problem with Wiki, all those words when all it needed was four. He is a twat.

  12. What about celebrity nervous breakdowns? Its tough enough when your just an average joe and you loose your marbles let alone when your a well-known celebrity.. I read here somewhere about Tony Blackburns famous public breakdown on radio. Did anyone hear the broadcast or know exactly what happened ? Was there a slow disintergration or a rapid explosion? What other celebrities have "lost it" either privatley or publically, that is indeed if they even had it in the first place and how have they actually done it?

    Bob Monkhouse

Thanks for the link, Mary. I have,nt seen it before and would have surely remembered it if I had being so morbid as I am! I dont think its in bad taste at all. Why do so many people have the attitude that when someone dies everyone has to be apologetic ? Like it or not it happens to us all in the end and in this day and age where everything is exploited its not a big deal. If someone had used his image to advertise -say baked beans for example then it would have been insensitive but for something as serious as prostate cancer it hits home. Im sure his family are fully behind it otherwise it would,nt have been shown? Bob was a great entertainer and I was genuinely sad when he died but hes still around making us aware of a killer disease.

    Wishful Thinking Death List

Katie Price and Peter Andre(x) - gross, gross, GROSS!! Will they never end their quest to shove the viewing publics head into their family life, their sex life and up their assess. Their like sad old Barbie and Ken who noone gives a sh*t about any more... All non-entities like Pete Docherty, Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham. They should be shot! Grrrrrrr!!!!

  18. C,mon Himler, you must have s@@t in your eyes! Dont be fooled into thinking that every female back in the seventies in the UK was,nt dying for the chance to jump on Jack and Stan and shag their brains out then take turns doing their washing, ironing and cooking and sit adoringly at their feet whilst they call us silly moos. With the current re-runs being shown on TV I am sure a whole new generation of women are ditching girl power and having the urge to lie down and become doormats to bus drivers! Get your leg over, lads!

    Quiz Show Hosts

Perhaps he got the idea for Mr and MRS as a chance to get in on as many threesomes as possible! And remember his "hostess" Susan Cuff/Cup/Clough?? whose very important job it was to shuffle contestants from one side of the stage to the other and look brain dead? I think I need to watch some old repeats of this show to remind me of the naffness of it all!! Derek is actually "up for rent": http://www.mr-and-mrs.tv/derek-batey.htm Im sooooo tempted!!!

    Quiz Show Hosts

Derek Batey is/ was a naus... Any one agree? I think he,s still alive and well but he can,t have much longer to go, can he? Maybe hes another resident of that retirement home that Richard O sullivan lives in? When watching him on Mr and Mrs I could never decided if he was a true scot or just putting on the accent when he felt like it as it seemed to change depending on the couple he was playing with!

    Do You Believe In Ghosts?

Not sure if this counts as an actual ghost but someone is going around the internet saying that Rod Hull is their spirit guide: http://endlessagony.com/Problem_detail.asp...problem_id=4965 Perhaps this person can find out what made him do a dumbass thing like climbing on his roof at 63 years old!

Comedy & Death - Great Combination

Sounds like a great guy! (not) I actually did see Rod and Emu some time back in the early eighties when he opened a local branch DIY store in my area. All I can remember was that he arrived in a yellow Rolls Royce and me and my mates stood well back as to avoid getting molested by them. I also have vivid awful memories of the pile of s**** TV programme called "Emu,s World" that involved a pink windmill (a phallic symbol, maybe?) an irritating green witch with her effeminate robot sidekick and hordes of cringey kids who were far too goody-goody to be real. What went on when someone was at the door? All that dancing around was enough to make me want to take a jump off my own roof!
