Well, despite almost insurmountable technical difficulties, I have just e-mailed the 'ttg,s team selections. CP can you please post on here if you have received them or not as I don't feel particularly confident that I've configured our new e-mails properly. Merci

Happy Birthday Cap'n: Santé!! -
On the subject of pavement etiquette - people who suddenly stop on a busy pavement so that you walk into them. To stick up for buggy pushers a bit (although I'm no longer one of them and when I was, would never have dreamed of walking in tandem with another buggy pusher), it is particularly difficult to stop when you are pushing a buggy. I once ran into an old lady in Bury St Edmunds on market day, she'd been walking quite briskly and stopped very suddenly, I had no chance of avoiding her. She very nearly sat on my son as his feet, which were sticking out, caught her behind the knee and she sort of buckled. Luckily, she managed to keep her balance and despite my apologies (it wasn't even my fault), let out a stream of expletives. I was too shocked to answer back.

Still on the subject of bears; famous rogue Slovenian bear Franska came to a sticky end on a French motorway this morning, much to the delight of local sheep farmers. Introduced to the Pyrenees in 2006, she had become a menace, endangering drivers by wandering about on the road near to Lourdes and killing more than 150 sheep. Farmers, who had been trying to hunt her down and kill her, expressed 'immense satisfaction' at the news. Of the 5 Slovenian bears released into the Pyrenees in April 2006, Franska is the second to be accidentally killed on the region's roads.

Death List Convention
Slave to the Grave replied to Saint Peter's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Fair enough.my bad. Just Delete the last few posts. I don't really think that any "nutters" (present company excepted) will turn up but if you all think so.... I'm sure they won't now it's been taken off, after all, we're hardly innundated with guests at the moment, but a notable death, like Paul Hunter or Emlyn Hughes would bring them all out of the woodwork I'm sure and if all the details were posted up for anyone to see........... Anyway, as it's stands, we'll probably just end up with Iain. -

Well done Millwall, now all the nutters can turn up. I thought this was being dealt with by pm to prevent that from happening. Post moved - LG -
His first face-to-face encounter with a bear came in July, as he was "rinsing a cup or two at the kitchen sink".

The ttGs will be in London at the end of October and are always available for a night on the lash. -
Harold Pinter. I think it will probably be Tammy , but I'm bored with voting for her. Tammy is a silly name anyway.

How clever is your right foot? Sit on a chair, lift your right foot off the floor and rotate your right ankle in a clockwise direction. With your right hand draw a number 6 in the air. Watch what happens to your right foot. -
Ah DDT, I'm come over all nostalgic, that was my very first DL sig. I had Phil Drabble on my DDP team for a couple of years, everyone else seemed to think he was dead.

Quel dommage . I was hoping to finish his autobiography before he died, but it was not to be.
