A deadpool pick with a pedigree and some points riding on her demise this year. With Emily Perry, Grobler's DDP team have three down and 9 unique picks still standing. If his picking proves as asute over twelve months as it has over two he could be looking good by Christmas. Let's just hope the obit writers get the right picture, the younger Emily Perry is a picture of health and vitality.

The gun used to kill Rhys Jones has, allegedly, been found. His missing in action killer may now find a guilty to manslaughter plea to be the best option.

ITV local news today, about 13-07 into the programme is a feature on Gretna with an unintended funny bit when they go to the town and try and find some Gretna supporters.

Jenna Parry is the latest, d'ya think it's those 'mosquito' high frequency devices that drive them to suicide or the fact that the police keep 'probing' them?

Read Any Good Books Lately?

You'll probably get home from Waterstones; open the cover, to find that there's only blank pages inside and it was indeed a hoax. Probably make for a better read mind. Are you calling John in the bookshop a liar? He's got one with words inside!! Incidentally who are you when you're not posting as Guest? -
Read Any Good Books Lately?

Speaking of excellent and funny reads I've finally got some information on that legendary novel about West Cumbria and football. I know you were all beside yourselves with anticipation when I mentioned it ages ago. It was beginning to look like a complete hoax but the local paper ran a story on the book and author a couple of weeks back revealing it's called 'Workington Dynamo.' Sounded great as did the fact it was gonna be in Workington's top independent bookseller this week. Turns out to be delayed until May, or summat. But it's real, I think. I mean there was a picture of the cover in the paper and everything. -
Seen Any Good Films Lately?

Indeed, if I recall it correctly the final line of the movie, sung over a close up shot of Redford looking out over the snowy wilderness is: 'And some folks say, he's up there still.' -

I must say she has a more impressive rack than Marilyn ever had... Yeah but has she shagged the president and his brother? I don't think any conspirators have a genuine reason to kill her, unless you count the few with her listed on a deadpool. -

We rented 'Hoax' from the local shop tonight but when Mrs MPFC opened the box there was no DVD in it! Hadn't got that lot in the shop figured for supreme ironists, mebbe underestimated them. -

You'll be stuck in the middle of nowt OSP, civilised place that it is, dripping in cash from weekending English and other Europeans, Dublin won't see her off.

Princess Anne is going to Croke Park. A few the kind who kidnapped Shergar are still walking the Dublin streets. Chances of a Benazir Bhutto style greeting are remote, but you never know.....

Samaritans suggesting that the young 'uns don't ring them soon enough. As a matter of interest, do any of our Welsh posters know if you have to be bilingual - i.e. English and Welsh - to be a Samaritan in Wales?

Ironic then that he's died ahead of two of the band, both a good bit older than him. 'Hope I die.....etc'

Ideas And Possibilities For 2009

Oof! That's a bastard, they've just lost the incomparable talents of assistant Neil 'Macca' McDonald to Leeds United. -
Some of us aren't having such a good time down in the depths, Mary. 2 points from a possible 33 (F11, A30), we may yet be joining Wrexham in the Conference, brawd Honez... Williamson Out etc blah!! I feel your pain, but the Conference/Blue Square whatever is survivable and brought a few delights, mainly whupping those teams who'd struggled to get there (the 7-0 demolition of hapless Farnborough and the 5 put past Aldershot being particular delights). Similarly some of the friendliest supporters I've ever encountered travelling away. Not that I'd wish relegation on you HMBWA.

She's leaving Britain after the divorce.

I'll remind myself of how low we sank a few years back and curb the passion. Then again, these things content me as I consider the awesome points gap between the leader and the also rans in the DDP!
