And dead in L.A., according to Fox 11.

May not be long now.....from http://www.parade.com/articles/editions/20...sonality_Parade Heston, 83, is in the final stages of the disease and has 24-hour care at his home in Beverly Hills, which he built with his pay from Ben-Hur. His son and daughter visit regularly. “He’s not plugged into machines,” a family friend tells us, “and his wife Lydia doesn’t plan to use any to extend his life.”

Someone is probably still Lucan for him.....

This one seems to have slipped past this thread - Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2007/01/21/3419873.html

I wouldn't rush out to put a bet on Pat Keysell just yet. Although she must be past 70 now, she's still very active in the whole mime/theatre/drama "scene".

Brought this up elsewhere, but one to watch may well be wrestler Roddy Piper, suffering from Lymphoma.

Mud drummer Dave Mount

Steve Benbow, British folk music veteran who left us a couple of weeks ago.

1) 1 (It's the numbers of the trunk roads that lead to them from London) 2) 50 (It's a dartboard) 3) Answered elsewhere 4) 5, I think 5) 1000 (33 1/3 RPM) And no, I don't have the book.

Not really. Topics merged. regards, Hein Would have caught it on the search if it had been spelled right :-)

This one seems to have escaped the net: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6102224.stm

Apparently on the way out: http://www.nbc4.tv/entertainment/9623024/detail.html Don't know if he'd pass the "fame test" - I'd certainly heard of him. If he makes it through the year, a good bet for '07.

Certainly remember 'Judo' Al Hayes as he was known here. Used to be a councillor in Westminster. And on the subject of Mick McManus, he turned 79 in January. Still looks in good health and attends the Wrestlers' Reunion in Dartford every year.

http://www.nbc4.tv/entertainment/6253024/detail.html So.....any other minor 60s singers?

The "other three" were recently at the launch of the DVDs in the US. Betty White looks the same, Bea Arthur is starting to show (insert gender here, I was never convinced) age, but Rue McClanahan looks very time-worn. I'd put money on Rue being the first of them to go.

Roy North will be appearing in theatre in his home town of Hull... http://www.hulltruck.co.uk/Showcast2.asp

Another strong contender, aged 75. [Merged by DWB]

How about Jimmy (not so) Young? He must be in his 80s now.
-
Patrick Moore? I thought he was already gone, but a Google reveals not. I think Kay Walsh has been mentioned elsewhere. still full of fight even at 90.

Here's some ideas... Robert Blake - probably best known in the UK for the TV show "Baretta", aged 71 and currrently standing trial for the murder of his wife. HRH Duke of Edinburgh - aged 82, health allegedly giving some concern. Dick Cheney - US VP, health probs for some years now, under pressure. Dick Clark - long time host of the New Year show on US TV, aged 75 and currently hospitalised after a stroke (may not be well enough known in the UK) Any one (or more) of Bruce Forsyth Ken Dodd Max Bygraves Bernard Manning (surprised he's made it this far) Former TV wrestling stars Mick McManus and Jackie Pallo, both pushing 80 (although McManus looks in great shape at 77). Long-time Scottish politician Winnie Ewing (must be close to 80)

Possibly Xavier (after St. Francis Xavier)?
