Not any more. Thanks for pointing that out. Princess Alice fans will need to click on the "Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester" link at the bottom of the steam boat page!

What about a poll to end this thread

I guess there is little chance of finding Nazi criminals in your lounge then.

Me & My Girl ("A long-running but unexceptional hit vehicle for Richard O'Sullivan" - thanks BBC), My Girl and Me.... Good old LWT. The Beeb has the low down: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/guide/articles...299002036.shtml And look, I've found the girl: Seems that this is the only TV she ever did. I reckon this photo is back from then too. Also, this is the only picture google images throws up. There is another Joanne Ridley, but its an old lady. I must say that I forgot that TBT was in this show, although I was probably younger than weatherman when this was shown on TV. Looks like our Stuart has been busy collecting the scribbles of some of our most famous actors: http://www.stuart.cann.freeuk.com/british.htm Can't believe he never manged to get Herr Flick of the Gestapo on his 'Allo 'Allo page . Plus he's nicked our photo of Simon Cadell. Tell you what though, there are a few names on some of those pages that might be worth considering...

Weatherman, either you are Michael's agent or you have stumbled across a very quiet press release. Which is it?
-
God, that is very weird. This whole thread is proving to be a very interesting read indeed - Ford Bronco's, Dot Cotton, Thamkrabok Monastery, Pete Doherty... I can't wait for the 3-part serialisation on ITV1 with Ross Kemp playing the lead role of Pete. Maybe the will all end up on that island where they filmed The Beach, the one where they all went mad, and killed each other in yaba induced craziness. I've done the right thing and added a personal thread subscription. I can't wait to see if the NME gets its man. Maybe The Divine Comedy will write a song about all this stuff.

I take it Montel isn't heading for a state funeral too, although he was in the army -right?
-
Sorry to trouble you, but just what experience or bibliographic research are you sighting here?
-
I guess we didn't see the light on this one, no. Fair to say that we were blinded by a complete lack of previous information. But then there wasn't ever any mention of his illness, was there? It was hard to find the cause of the death in-and-amongst the affilated press stories: acute liver disease.
-
Neither... I wondered if 'Guest_Krunko' had managed to extract his golf handicap from him in the golf buggy.
-
Is it true he is handicapped?

Hey, what was the final score? -
Well Reaper? Was it, erm, erm, Alzheimer's or was it PNEUMONIA?
-
I think we should remove Alzheimer's Disease as COD, unless he specifically died from AD: "Doctors say it is possible that an Alzheimer's patient could progress to the point that damage from the disease to the centers of the brain that control breathing could cause death, but patients rarely get that far without an infection setting in."

Ordinary Yank: Take a "nation vacation" and you will quickly see that the US isn't the only country on the map. Ok, granted its big, but it's not the only one. I like the way you assume that we all live there though. Thankfully, we don't. Next ranter please.

Hey, I like this pre-death quote from Nancy: "Ronnie's long journey has taken him to a distant place where I can no longer reach him," she said. and he even gets a state funeral for his efforts: "Mr Reagan's body will be taken to his presidential library and museum in Simi Valley, California and then flown to Washington for a state funeral. His body will then return to California for burial near his library in California."
-
Oops. Ok, I'll retract that them as well. Besides, it does say "former idiot" BTW - Great work from the DL stock photography department... A truly great shot of Ron.
-
Well, perhaps. Not seeing any DL related stuff in google searches here. So we should be safe for a bit.
-
Ahhh, good to see the death dancer bringing home the bacon...
-
Just what is it about accountants and the Deathlist!
-
Ok, I'm retracting the previous comment, as it appears The Four Horsemen rode in to town before me on this one, but "they" did post to the wrong thread That is my defence...

No Kydding.

Then it could be another case for Qunicy.

I note that Ramona Trinidad Iglesias Jordan died, aged 114, in Puerto Rico on Saturday. According to the Independent today: "Hendrikje van Andel-Schipper, born on 29 June 1890 in Hoogeveen, enjoys the traditional Dutch specialty [sic] of pickled herring every day and the occasional alcoholic drink." This makes her, according to the indie, the world's oldest person at 113. Note to self: eat more herring.
