Bad Day at Black Rock (1955) is one of my all time favourite films. I suspect that all the main cast are long dead. I have not checked to see if that is actually the case because I am a lazy bastard. Anyway, I reckon they are all dead, so there. -

The first teacher I ever fancied was Mrs Lee. She was lovely. Later on, when she left to have a baby ( no, if was NOT mine Deathers ) she was replaced by Miss Douglas who was also rather nice. Both were teachers of Drama. I fucking hated Drama.

I don't necessarily think it is an issue of forums dying so much but more a case of the kind of people that are joining. We have too many that have the personalities of dead hamsters and too many that think they are edgy and Frankie Boyle. There are plenty of intelligent people on here ( not me, obviously) but we do not need anymore smart arses, we need PERSONALITY, ya know, people that have something about them instead of posting like they are actually some sort of robot. I miss Banshees and Lardy, Z was a lunatic but lunatics are in short supply here so...

Maybe you should. You must have noticed how utterly shit it has been in here for a good while now. Too many posters are, frankly, shite and bore the absolute tits off of me with their insipid crap that does absolutely nothing but make you yearn for the days when we had posters going off on one or taking threads and mangling the shit out of them by taking them in directions they were never meant to go. This was one of the first places i would log into when i lifted the laptop lid, it is now one of the last. I know, things change and people come and go but i wish a load of those that have come would just fuck off and go elsewhere. Go ahead and rant Deathers, might shake the fucking place up from its tedium or summat.

He was was given the legal right to reply after she went on TV ( Loose Women) to discuss their parting of the ways. He did state that she had a drink and prescription drug issue and would be dead within two years if she did not get help. The man very clearly a bona fide legend of Prison dead pooling!!

I suspect that the 'alleged' issues he had with a local crime Lord and his 'protector' getting done in a gangland hit was the primary reason he went North of the border to start with. You could also play around with that theory and apply it to Garath Bale who has family members up to their necks in bother making Spain far enough away and another reason why he has not been in any rush to return home. Maybe.

Absolutely nothing in the scene suggezted his wife was raped. The suggestion was that she was given a fatal overdose of drugs, drugs being the plotline of the story. -
He was recently interviewed and asked about his weight loss. He said something like 'i'm not ready to cark it yet' or something along those lines. He is a deffo legend, an unsung one in the way that Barry Cryer ( who does seem to be a bit iffy at the mo ) is. Will be a sad day when they both go.
