Good to see you back you've been missed!!

So did you get lots of special attention then in Gran Canaria?!!:D

I have never seen anything like it.

It was one big fuck off orgy, by the look of it.

Lady FN found it most amusing, I just kept my head down, metaphorically speaking!:D

PS: Took a break coz Lady FN had to have a brain operation. I considered it pointless getting agitated and irate with people I'd not want to get stuck in a lift with when there were more important things to worry about.

    Amen x

I used to wear  bright green shorts just like that.

Got me a fair bit of attention from gentlemen.

Yeah,. I have a pair like that.

The last time I wore them was when I was in Gran Canaria.

Unbeknown to me, it was their Gay Pride week......

I have never said that, I’ve always said a GE is necessary purely to get these lying, dangerous cunts away from power, and that the opposition is not ideal but what we have now is a fuck side worse. But you’ll continue to be deliberately ignorant and change the narrative to suit your ignorance because that’s what you do. As do Tories, incidentally.

    Really?

Bit of a presumptuous prick, aren't you.

You have no fucking idea whether the the others are any better OR worse than what we have but you still push the 'narrative' ( every tool uses that word because it makes them sound clever ) because you actually believe that an election would rid us all of this poisonous shite without having the basic intelligence to figure out that you may end up with a no overall majority in Parliament but still having those cunts as the largest party.

To wit ( and you have fuck all wit ) we would end up with exactly the same shite, albeit, diluted.

In the mean time, while you keep posting your 'Angry from Billericay shit' here nobody actually has a fucking clue what any new Government would propose to do with our national debt, rampant inflation and crippling energy prices because they haven't actually told us.

That would help, just a little bit in getting them in to power but, oh no, they would rather stand shoulder to shoulder with picketing train drivers who earn £60K + a year than explain how they would help ALL of us.

Never mind, I have broken the golden rule never to debate Politics with a cunt.

I won't be doing it again.

…not nearly as much as shit govt but whatever floats your boat.

    It doesn't 'float my boat'.

You keep convincing yourself that an immediate election will solve all of our problems because we will end up with a Government of the people, for the people and all of that bollocks.

    Amen.

He was not on the DDP drop 40 and he was not on the crowdsourced list

He has been working during the year including filming the 60th Anniversary Episode of Doctor Who - he did lose his wife at the end of 2021 but seemed in reasonable health. I think he would have been included in the 2023 list if he had survived

I understand totally why he was not on the list

    No he wouldn't have.

If they had put him on the list I would have hunted them down and rammed broom handles up their arses.

Genuinely gutted, a brilliant comedic actor, good guy and proper 'star'.

    The lights have gone out...:(

Starmer is terrified of being Corbyned out of the next election and so is avoiding saying anything as long as possible to avoid the papers who have a vested interest in the Conservative party being in power tear him to shreds and scare the more easily influenced part of the electorate that he is going to allow a full socialist/islamic/gay rights agenda* to trash the country. I want to vote Labour because I am a Union member but I also want to understand that the party that is elected will not just be Tory lite. Having said that I would consider voting Labour if it meant getting out Conservative MP out who is extremely Brexity

*Pick whichever scares your target audience most

I was in the CWU for over 30 years and it never influenced how I voted.

Starmer happily sat in Corbyns shadow cabinet so, logically, he was and still is aligned to his policies, ideology and manifesto. The public are not so massively stupid that they don't get that.

Even if he has had a wholesale shift, politically, the Trojan horse scenario could happen. Maybe.

Just because, as a society, we agree in equality, social justice and all that shizzle, doesn't make us a socialist society, if it did Labour would have swept to power many more times than it has.

Having said that, at least we knew where Corbyn stood, Starmer? No fucking idea!

John Smith was heavily criticized for not doing anything as the John Major government fell apart but if the the Government are destroying themselves surely you just let them get on with it

So the other parties allow them to destroy themselves, then what?

    Who do we vote for?

Aside from ' traditional' Tory, Labour,. Lib Dem, etc voters, the vast majority of us vote for the party that, in our view, offers us a better alternative, a better manifesto and a better future.

Can you tell me if any of the other parties currently offer us that alternative?

Currently, we KNOW how shit this mob is but we don't actually KNOW if the alternatives are any better.

Let's not forget that lying, cheating, law breaking and doing bird is not just a Tory thing, yes, they do it on a grand scale but the others are hardly fucking saintly, are they.

So, I refer back to my original point, and a point I made a while back, that there is no clear alternative and that alone could see the wankers return to power.

I mean, for some, it may be a case of ' better the devil you know' eh.

Well I don't know.  Angela Rayner is always pretty outspoken.

Generally, she talks a load of shit.

Being outspoken means bugger all if you are not making these bunch of tossers look, well, a bunch of tossers.

They should have been completely dismantled by Labour by now, yet the only dismantling of the Conservatives has been brilliantly executed by the Conservatives.

The whole sodding point is that, by now, we all should be saying things like ' yeah, Labour/ Lib Dems etc, have had them on the ropes, exposed them for the cunts that they are and are demonstrating that they know how to take us all forward when we vote them in.

    So far, fuck all.

It's like they only have to fuck the corpse but they can't even get a hard on.

They, purely by being utterly toothless, are as culpable for the shit we are in as the sitting bunch of bastards.

    We are doomed.

Five more years! Five more years! Five more years!

    ...and the fucking tragic thing?

All of the blows landed on this shit show of a Government have been either self inflicted or by public opinion.

Fuck all has landed from those useless cunts on the opposite benches, which says it all.

You couldn’t tell me why the LOTO is pointless when I’ve asked you before so park your impotent rage.

I have no rage and, despite my age, I am not impotent.

Maybe I couldn't be arsed to tell you before, it isn't like you are THAT fucking important that I simply MUST answer your questions, is it.

No, it isn’t. It’s an exercise that proves whether ANY Tories have any principle whatsoever.

Why, would the Tories who could have voted in favour of the motion been named so you could send them all Thank You cards?

It was a fucking pointless motion raised by a pointless, useless leader of the opposition who wanted to oust a liar and a bull shitter.

    It's almost funny.

It does matter as it is an example of the reason why Johnson should not have been allowed to continue as PM.  He is still in control and is capable of doing plenty more damage.

In any case it would have been an embarrassment for the Tories who have supposedly ousted him to be seen supporting him again.

Exactly what further damage could he actually do, exactly?

He is a dead man walking, his 'cabinet' have one eye on the new leader and will fuck him over as quick as anything if he starts trying to act like a Prime Minister again.

World leaders re already moving on, they said their bye byes, Johnson is a persona non grata unless you are the Ukrainian President.

Since when have the Tories felt any embarrassment? Do you REALLY think it would have made one iota of difference to their mindset if they had gone against the Labour motion?

Listen, like it or not, and never mind current opinion polls, they have every chance of being returned to power in the next election if they get a new leader who makes sweeping changes to how they operate and hands out income tax cuts, fuel tax cuts and the like.

Labour are a fucking shambles and will still be a fucking shambles at the next election.

It is still the Tories to lose, unbelievable as it is.

Quite why you threw a moral dilemma ( voting ) into the mix when you know, we all sodding know, they have no fucking morals, is a mystery to me.

It allows them to present the party as being complicit in Johnson's corruption going forward but ultimately it will feel like playing politics unless a few Conservatives abstain because they cannot bring themselves to vote for it. Opportunistic if it were to come off

However, I do feel like there is a lack of diversity (of political thought) amongst the declared candidates falling over themselves in a race to the right

The only people who were truly complicit in Johnson's free for all would have been the wankers that voted for him to remain in charge in the recent no confidence vote and cabinet that stuck with him till the end.

I will include the two no hopers who resigned too late, imho, to be considered on the side of doing what's right.

As bad as they are, there are good MP's in their party just as there are good ones in Labour, Lib Dem etc etc.

I will not tar them all with shite just because there is a significant number of MP's who are not fit to do the job and represent the people.

Yeah, I dont know what to think of it either. If BoJo hadnt retreated it might have been useful. But the party decided to agree with his delayed resignation plan. They didnt put, say, Raab into the caretaker role, so they wont do so now.

Is it at least politically useful posturing? I'm not entirely convinced of it either.

    I don't think it is.

What would more useful is if they got their act together and presented a strong alternative to the shite we have in power at the mo.

The country is well aware that there will be no election before one is due, it would be a good idea if Labour accepted that and just got on with building a shadow cabinet WITH a manifesto to take to an election when it comes.

Another reason for me to think that they are all useless and tactical voting will do fuck all to make things any better for us.

Hadn't realised until I read it in a book today that a  probable 27 Club member is Matthew Hopkins, England's notorious and briefly prolific Witchfinder General - date of birth uncertain but the sources prepared to made educated guesses on the mystery of his early life place him as around 27 years old on death in 1647

    That has surprised me.

I knew he was quite young when he set out, box of matches in one hand, can of petrol in the other but I had no idea he had such a short, albeit, productive career.
