Can I point out that the mods have no say in this, we are here to moderate, which we do, deleting spam and sorting out everyday posts and putting them in the right thread. Who goes on the list is not part of our criteria, that's for the committee, most of whom are not regular contributors to this site. well that destroys my imaginings of how this place runs. I was under the illusion that you all got together for a game of darts every other Tuesday and which ever images landed the most darts over the year got on the list.

If there are oonly 17, will you be resigning? Personally I like the list.

Garner has had health issues for years. Even back in the 80s when he did a television interview with Barbie Walters he had been through the mill. He has had dozens of broken bones from doing his own stunts and apparently even was hit by a bullet or 2 while serving in Korea. He's nowhere near to dead yet.

The Colts lost again yesterday in a collapse in the snow up in Buffalo against the Bills. The Jets managed a late night win over the Bengals and with that the Meadowlands stadium had its final game. Now the rush is on to get the new stadium built to standard by September. The Chargers won their 11th straight, staging a last minute victory over the Redskins. In less happy news miixed with happy news, the Steelers walloped the Dolphins, however, the Dolphin's Pat White sustained a nasty blow to the head and was motionless for a time, and was subsequently sequestered in a hospital. -
Another frozen week here. It should warm on Wednesday all the way to 35F or 36F wth wind but by Saturday back down to the arctic blast.

Not any more on any accounts. Bea Arthur who mazel toved off into the great beyond last April the 25th of 2009., was born in May of 1922 more than 3 years before Lansbury and was ailing something awful for a while there. Lansbuury with the exception of joint surgeries is still spry and fit as a fiddle. ((never have understood fit as a fiddle.---what does it mean? Is a fiddle fit? do you fit into a fiddle? Is it to do with fiddler crabs? very confusing) So, Lansbury, born in October of 1925, and being more than 3 years younger than Arthur and in better health should grace our stages, screens and boards for at least another 9 years.

In all fairness Banshees, that's about 51 weeks in the past. We are currently in 2010. ((thought I;d better warn you before you write the wrong date on your checks))

I have an Illustrated choice, Man it took me 3 seconds to decide, I'd bank on Tomorrow around Midnight he'll be found near the Halloween Tree, I must now return to my Martian soup while reading aloud from the bible, I'm in First Chronicles. To make it easier::: Ray Bradbury

He's still alive no matter how much you protest it. The fun of machine life is that you don't have any idea how long a person might last which makes it in many ways an even better selection. And now for a little music:::::

We can add to it that he shares a birthday with Frank Thornton of Are you Being (Per)served fame. Both born January 15, Thornton is 12 years older than Bough. Both are British They both have known on a name basis a man named George. I had never heard of Bough before which is strange becuase usually sex scandals from anywhere make headlines in the U.S.

Supposedly still at work and expecting to be 89 on the 15th of this month he is connected by more than name to Frank Boff Bough. I'd give him another 8 years.

Mintoff lives and still visits various people and locations as was shown in early December. The receptionist at Labour's headquarters could hardly believe his eyes when he saw former leader Dom Mintoff walk through the door last Friday. He hurriedly phoned one of the officials on the administration floor. "Mr Mintoff has just walked in," he said, anxiously expecting instructions on how to proceed. "What? Mintoff?" was the quick reply, "give me some time". There was a brief uncomfortable lull, and then, the instructions straight from the top: "let him go through, immediately!" It is ironic that the visit of one of the Labour Party founders at the party's headquarters should cause so much consternation, but Mr Mintoff's one-hour tour of the glass building was a first, since he had never been there before. Happy New Year Everybody! Let's make this the best year ever getting a hit every other week! -
Charles Rangel---------born on June 11 of 1930 this rapidly aging bag of wind is a Democratic Congressman out of New York's 15th district. He has been under continued investigation for ethical violations and recently has shed a lot of weight for no known reason and looks ill. With the recent death of his one time cohort Percy Sutton (mentioned in croaked in '09)) his time may soon be up. Russell Peterson former governor of Delaware, born in 1916 Louis Haris responsible for the Harris Polls, born in 1921 Rhonda Fleming born in 1923 and rapidly aging. along with Fleming is Norman Lloyd born in 1914 he and Fleming are 2 of the last liiving from the Hitchcock film Spellbound Roger McGuinn and his twelve string guitar, he was born in 1942 and as you know to everything Turn, Turn Turn----said it himself there's a time to live and a time to die. Clive Swift and Patricia Routledge born in 1936 and 1929 respectively. No matter how you pronounce their name on Keeping up Appearances it was spelled B-U-C-K-E-T and isn't about time they both kicked it? Speaking of Clives. I arrive at Clive Owen born in 1964 but he looks dead already. All remaining Beatles----------I just want the madness to stop I will add more as I think of them.

In other and decidedly more important news than some sotted drumstick chomper from Orange (((who fellow DLers you never frggin' gave the name of---and I am too lazy to click on the link or search further))). I present one David Levine::::::::::::David Levine created thousands of satirical portraits for The New York Review of Books and other publications. He died Tuesday at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan of prostate cancer and complications from other ailments. He was 83. He did caricatures of people creating them with extree big heads. Now now youu naughty readers we mean the head on the shoulders not the lower one ((bunch of horndog pervs is what y'all is.))) according to the new york times he was a biting caricaturist. It's always good when they take proper care of their teeth. He was survived by a woman who he'd been with for 32 years after divorcing the mother of his children Matthew and Eve. His grandson Levi Levine could not be reached for comment. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/30/arts/design/30levine.html More on Levine's work is found here:::::: David Levine Gallery- The New York Review of Books

Dead Edward Kennedy/Curse of the Kennedys
BrunoBrimley replied to DevonDeathTrip's topic in DeathList Forum
In other news, Ted Kennedy was seen clawing his way out of his grave early in the evening one evening recently and with clenched fists raised in the air screaming 'damn you Obie! This isn't the health care bill I died for!" He then went into town and danced with the late Charlie Rangel. (((that is your hint good people of DL. Get him on the list he ain't looking well====Rangel that is.)) Ted Kennedy Ronnie Spector and Dominick Dunne all at the same time-----what were the odds? -

The Gints ended their season in a horrid game. Meanwhile the Jets went on to a stunning victory over the previouly undefeated Colts. Colts coach pulled Peyton Manning from the game and some other key players to keep them from sustaining injury before post season playoffs and possibly Super Bowl. Later in the day the Redskins lost miserably to the Cowboys. a very sad thing. Anyway one of those British groups is slated to perform at the Super bowl halftime show. The Who who are now candidated for the list here will likely impress some gray haired hearing aid wearing blind lady who remembers her turn with Roger Daltry many years ago. Fred Olivieri is still retired which is bad news for his once illustrious Warriors. -

I was planning to send you a knuckle sandwich after havign voted for you but you spoke kindly of me and it melted my heart. I am having elk heart for dinner. I bought you several pints you just never showed up so I dranked them down myself. And after I read about you sticking your arm into some animal. Still gives me the shivers, aye that eet dooz. all is forgiven since you didn't know I'd been buying you a keg every Tuedsay at noon. and sadly youu spoke too late, I had unharnessed my leg and was preparing to clobber those who failed me and after the elation from your mention of me I leapt to my foot and fell over. Up to 3 votes per poster. I mean, obviously, this voting scheme will favour those who hide under multiple aliases, or is it aliai? Hmmm, mebbe Guest MPFC should register and vote. I was once caught when not signed in.................they caught me. And they'll catch you too and your little lambs eating.......well whatever lambs eat. -

Today's games include Giants and Panthers at 1 and the Jets against the Colts at 4. Will the Giants win and continue their season with a shred of mediocrity or will they be clawed while their stadium sharing Jets (((yes, they share a stadium)) are pounded by the heavy hooves or the team with a history back in Baltimore? At least the Chargers have been moderately good this seasoon. -
Yes, I like you too. As near as I can tell the only people here in the U.S who were fully aware of her and her brief career are a bunch of powdery brained ninnies with nothing to do but go to the multiplex and watch dull movies with insipid cretins attempting to act with botoxed lips and tushes. She was not a good actor, even her voice work in King of The Hill was bad. I dreaded her character appearance because the lines were clearly being read. No emotion, no anything. She sucked sucked sucked as an actor. The reason anyone cares now is because she was relatively young and all the tree huggers now have to act horrified that yet another superstar has been victimized by the sudden rush to stardom. Give it a few weeks she will be forgotten. Only reason she got any coverage was that people were sick of the daily updates on Tiger Woods.

Well now we have you and TMZ having heard of her. Anyone else? I'd heard of her, she was in the only film I've ever walked out of - Sin City. Okay, so we have 2 people and a television joke machine who have heard of her and one with good sense to exit a bad movie.

Percy Ellis Sutton one time Borough President and lawyer of the late Malcolm X and his daughter and others has died of unknown causes but possibly too much egg nog and not enough brioche. Percy Sledge's distant unrelated relative has died. Percy Ellis Sutton media honcho and attorney for the Malcolm X has attended his last Democratic National Wool-Over-The-Eyes-Pull Festival. Sutton was 89 and should have been on this year's list as he was clearly a candidate for croakdom due to his advanced age. Sutton had the distinguishment of being a borough President for the borouugh ((which is also mostly an island0 of Manhattan in New York City. New York County comprised of /Manhattan Island and Roosevelt/;Welfare Island and Governors and Bedloe/Liberty Island arewhat is said to be the smallest land mass county in the United States. Other counties are all larger in size but not necessarily in population or pollution. Sutton was none too bright in 1977 when he ran for mayor of New York competing against Eddie Koch (who won) Abe Beame (then the incumbent) and Mario Cuomo (not related to Mario Proccocino who had failed in a Mayoral bid a few years earlie, and Cuomo was able to then become Governor of New York the State for 12 years which seemed like 20). Sutton was predeceased by his parents Lillian and Samuel (Sutton, not Gompers or Jackson) He was the last of 15 children born in the Texas rose town of San Antonio born a Sagitarius on November 24 of 1920 a good several years before the Great Depression. Only 12 of the aforementioned children lived to being adults and they all went to college. At any time he went into the Armed Forces and became a Tuskegee Airman a rather well known group of men who were of African heritage and did a great amount of helping the Allied cause in WW2. It is unclear the exact cause of his death but former New York Viceroy David Dinkins may have been responsible. Dinkins has been quoted as saying "I stood on the shoulders of Percy Sutton" which may have proved too great a weight. He is said to be surrvived by his long time wife of more than 60 years a woman named Leattrice (who once either did divorce or filed for divorce) and he had at least 2 children Pierre and Cheryl Lynn, the latter of which when contacted declined comment as she wept quite loudly, "Daddy's dead, that's what I said. Everybody misused him, kicked around and abused him." She stopped upon realizing that she was singing a song about some guy named Freddy who is also dead. Sutton Dead, Ben Kingsley to portray him in film
