Poor old Rodney. I think at this time we should all recall his words, 'Canada is north of Albuquerque.' No actually he pleaded "Can't we all just get along, police?" Has anyone notified Reginald Denny about this? A little more than 20 years ago he nearly got killed himself after the Rodney King verdict infuriated a community and a nation.

Oh. I never watched Moesha although I did once know a fellow named Moishe. By the way, she (Yvette Wilson) was 48.

    Tariq Aziz

I still sort of like Tariq Aziz. Not for his politics or actions as such. Rather I like how he refuses to back down and stays steadfast to his ways and ideas. In the Ariel Sharon thread I have made mention of how delightful it would be to have Mr. Sharon, Mr,Mubarak and Mr.Aziz all die the same day.

    Ariel Sharon

I have had a thought about Ariel Sharon and wondered if there might be a triple of middle east death in the near future. In it Hosni Mubarak, Tariq Aziz and Ariel Sharon would all go on the same day and within minutes of each other. Wouldn't that be an exciting day? Sharon and Mubarak were both released in 1928 and Aziz in 1936 which means they are all worth watching closely. In other news I just found out that golfer Ben Hogan has been dead for near on 15 years. It was a surprise as I had been planning a special golf outing for him this August on his 100th birthday.

    Hosni Mubarak

I am sure that due to the political rulings events of recent days that H.M. will start feeling better as he awaits being cleared on all charges.. If I turn out to be wrong and H.M. croaks in the next few months, be sure to remember I often speak in code and will therefore claim that (being that he'd be dead shortly) is what I had said.

    The Deathlist Kitchen

Not really. Along with other things the coca cola chicken doesn't use the can as a stuffing. Coca cola chicken also has a decidedly sweeter taste although to really get the sweet you need Pepsi. Personally the best was original Dr.Pepper chicken where the chicken marinated in the soda overnight. Remember people when making these soda and or beer chickens to use metal cans. Use the cans. Don't use the bottles. Beer bottles are glass and usually break with the heat and the soda bottles are plastic which destroys an otherwise good meal. Good to see you posting again Bruno. Are you well? I seem to be alive. Soon I will be putting together another ghastly concoction which I will eat. It won't be ghastly in taste, just in description of what is in it. Garlic, butter, peppers, onions, cheese and fresh green peas mixed together with pasta.

    Ice Hockey Players

After the dismal showing by New Jersey Devils players in the Stanley Cup Finals, I have a feeling Martin Brodeur wishes he were out of the life picture (at least for a little while)

The death of Frank Cady made me wonder how Sid Caesar is doing. For those who don't know why I mention it the answer is easy. They were both born on the 8th of September although Cady was 1915 and Sid was in 1922. Also notice that CaDY is very very close alphabetically to CAEsar.

    Herbert Lom

Herbert Lom came to me in a dream the other night. He did not look well and mentioned he would be having dinner with Peter Lorre and Paul Muni in a fortnight. I don't usually have premonitions but this might have been one since it is June.

    Ray Bradbury

Well he died in California at night on the 5th so maybe if it was posted by someone in a British Time Zone it was already the 6th.

I can't say as how I have found any politicians to be sexy since Harry Truman.

    The 6th Death Of 2012

Imagine my surprise when I saw the name Herbert Lom I keep thinking he has been dead for a long time already. So I voted for him

    Angela Lansbury

I just hope Angela Lansbury has the decency and good sense not to start over taking the airwaves the way Betty White has recently. Betty White was enjoyable over the years but now she is every place you look and it is just annoying to me. Glad she has the energy but with her latest show Off Their Rockers I am officially tired of her. Anyway Angela Lansbury was in a morning show recently and seems quite healthy although her eyes don't seem to blink any more.

    The Dead Of 2012

Less then a month later, Frank Cady has died. It wasn't the biggest surprise but it still took me bad. I so enjoyed watching him in his days as Sam Drucker and the reactions of the customers coming into the store. He had kind of stopped acting more than 30 years ago but I never forgot him. Similar in some ways to the late Harry Morgan who also went at age 96, both born in 1915.

    The 5th Death Of 2012

Did you know that when viewing this on the main page it looked like it says 57th death? I thought it was some joker trying to cover all bases after yesterday. I haven't voted yet I need to decide which of the list seems dead already.

    Fidel Castro

Yesterday late in the day before it began to rain which happened this morning I was on the phone and we were talking about the Dominican Republic and Cuba. I took it as an omen or some other kind of foretelling that Fidel will be dead soon.

    Bee Gees

Well that means there's 1 left. Barry looks to be in fine fettle and will hopefully release an album or whatever they put music on these days as a remembrance.

    Eleni

In the tradition of yesterdays posting by CupOfBoringLiquid (also known as CupOfTea..no offense meant to you CupofTea, I just find tea not to be my beverage of choice unless you plan to pour some bourbon into it ); I would like to welcome our latest new member Eleni and extend to him/her/it the Scythe of Reaping of Souls. So anywho....Eleni appears to be the one who has raised our bar of death to 668 registrated members and as of this moment we have ourselves a bit over 40,000 posts having been made by registrated people. I get the feel that this does not include non-registrated people like the guests and LBJ and LadyBird Watcher sorts and other assorted whacky folks who drop by on regular occasion. So moving back to Eleni I am reminded of the filmed movie of that same exact name from some 20 years ago which brings me to the main point of this post other than welcoming Eleni::::: How many folks from that movie are still with us? John Malkovich? Kate Nelligan? Still alive looking at #56 in March Linda Hunt? Oliver Cotton? Ronald Pickup? Rosalie Crutchley? Dead since 1997 Glenne Headly? Dimitra Arliss? Just turned 73 this past October, no listed work since 2000.... Steve Plytas? Imdb lists him as still alive being born in 1913.... I see a good candidate for next year. Peter Woodthorpe? Kicked off in the summer of 2004 at a mere 72+ (would have been 73 if he had hung on for another 44 days or so). Jon Rumney? Alison King? Leon Lissek? Stefan Gryff? Andrea Laskari? How about Nick Gage the person who wrote the novel Eleni on which the movie was based........is he still with us?? Come on people tell us what you know about these people and what happened to them.

    Fats Domino

Antoine (a.k.a. Fats) who as recently as February 26 turned 82 doesn't seem to be making any waves healthwiise, although still broken up by the woeful passing of his old pal Bobby Charles, who was a few years younger than our sugar man. His health seems decent, having survived Katrina and the waves I'm sincerely hoping we can get another 29 years from him.
