Did you know that the US army took him up in an F15 to do another supersonic flight in October last year, at the age of 89, on the 65th anniversary of his record breaking flight? This time he wasn't at the controls himself, of course... but still cool. Yeah I heard about that. Neatly enough it was on the same day Baumgartner broke the sound barrier.

Yeah, been trying to think of something based around "Truth and Reconciliation" for five minutes, I got nothing. It's a toughie, isn't it? The angles are oddly difficult: his name, his other name (Madiba), Robben Island, ANC, "Free Nelson Mandela" (The Special AKO?) Apartheid, I'm Soweto-ing on this, I don't mind telling you... Only-known-for-illness-folk like her tend not to have threads of their own... fringes of fame covers them. Figured it was worth mentioning that BBC covered her last concert. Given it's been half a year since her Christmas bid this pretty much means she'll get an obit when she goes.
