I'll miss his funky beard.

No need to go to such lengths just e-mail Chris Brown and intimate that she has told you that he is not very well provided for in the trouser department. You will be collecting points before you know it. This post is wrong in so many ways!! Well hey, so is the fact that Chris Brown still has a career

A few days ago, during one of my routine Google searches for "cancer", I saw an an article mentioning that Francis George got a clean bill of health. Looks like he'll be attending. -

She's still giving updates on her website's blog. She backtracked on the whole "no more treatment" thing as she's been trying electrochemotherapy. -
For joke-related purposes, shame this wasn't in a summer month

Jackie Stallone has had a heart attack -
Since this thread's just been posted in I might as well make mention that two theme teams weren't attributed as such: The Pope (cardinals) and Kentucky Fried Genocide (like in years past, oldest Oscar nominees)

Even though I wasn't familiar with his work (Roobarb was never in the US to my knowledge) it's always a shame to hear of an animator's death

Still has breathing problems

They'll continue to insist he's recovering and when he's a goner they'll say it was a "sudden, unexpected setback" ala Meles Zenawi.

Props to DDT on a well-deserved win!

GIlda Radner is another that comes to mind, of ovarian cancer/curse of Gene Wilder at 42.

Magic Johnson, And Other Basketball Players

This article on Buss mentions that Bill Sharman, a Lakers coach, is now in failing health. He's 86 so it could very well just be age rather than specific ailments, but I figured it was worth sharing. -
...all the usual suspects! Unusually, he wasn't mentioned on DL at all last year. I guess everybody hoped no one else had noticed he was dying. I was sure that I mentioned him in the forums! After one of my many Google searches for "gravely ill". I remember you doing so as well, and here's the post.

Magic Johnson, And Other Basketball Players

Glad to have been of assistance Confessedly I hadn't heard of him either until he was in the hospital last year, but most of the basketball players I've heard of had played under his team some point during their careers (Shaq, Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain etc) -

Throw him under a Buss. -
Guess this puts a new perspective on Fred Phelps's "FAGS DIE" warbling.

Read that she shot her dog as well. (mentioned in BBC article) Good riddance IMO to anyone who does that... and had she done this a few weeks ago her children could very well have been killed as well.

More often than not, when the oldest verified person dies there's at least one living person from either the same year of birth or the year after that (I just now checked every oldest living person starting with Jeanne Calment, and her and Sarah Knauss are the only ones from that time period who DON'T fit that criteria... and they're the two longest lived) so odds definitely favor those who exited the womb during the 20th century bar one of the 19th century folk becoming another Calment.

A shame to hear about Tony Sheridan, but in DDP terms that nets me a nice 10 points. Puts me at 6th now, from the looks of it...

Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew is recovering from a transient ischaemic attack, or fancy talk for a mild stroke.

Double checked myself and it looks like there are three voice actors from the animated version left: Diane Pershing - Dale Arden Melendy Britt - Princess Aura Alan Oppenheimer - Dr. Hans Zarkov Only Oppenheimer has a known YOB though, 1930. Already familiar with him, too, as I played a game he was in last year.

And he has trouble speaking due to it, which would give credence to some "lost his voice" rumors that popped up a few days before this news
