I love the backstory behind Nixon in Futurama. His voice actor Billy West was watching the 1960 presidential debates as a kid, and thought Nixon was turning into a werewolf because of his 5 o'clock shadow. The image stuck with him, and would lead to Futurama Nixon frequently howling "haroo".

I unfortunately remember Crazy Frog from commercials when I was growing up. The worst part of the Crazy Frog Axel F is, since I heard his version first, I can't even listen to the original without bracing for a sodding bing bing.

I like the symmetry of both 70s games having an outer space song end up at second place.
