She's a death many of us were dreading. Not because we were all huge Xi Xi fans, but because this means we actually have to think about what X name to pick in the ABC Pool again. -

Might give it to Mihajlovic now, thought for sure he'd be the type on at least a couple of casuals even if he seemed OK in his cancer battle. But no, List of the Missed.

Don't think so? Banana, gcreptile, and msc could've done it last year had Floyd Little lived an extra day. Loki also came close in 2013, when Peter O'Toole died a day before Harold Camping and Joan Fontaine.

Think Book was downvoting Police before I was, not really sure if I can claim to be the lead general here -

And I concur, the final few years of the 80s are an utter deadzone, I typically skip the weekly 80s countdown if I see it's 1988 or 89. The trajectory of 80s chart music is like an inverse of the 60s. -

If so, a LotM-er last picked 2015.

Deathlist Dreaming
Death Impends replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
It's a borderline case, I'd probably be slightly hesitant considering it a theme given it's at the whim of other members' posts. Would be fascinating as a team in general though. -
I tend to assume every obit-lock 95+ year old finds their way onto the DDP these days, so I'd give it to Peter Brook or Virginia Patton. Abe surely has to be the biggest drop in teams for a LotMer though.

The Deathlist Christmas Special!
Death Impends replied to Lady Die's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I'm probably only really at risk while out grocery shopping, which is still so far so good. Sometimes the 60s channel I listen to plays advertisements for temporary Christmas stations that in past years included snippet of Last Christmas, but so far I've mostly just heard era artists like Darlene Love in this year's ads. -

Not to the point I can't enjoy the songs, but it does make them do relatively less for me in a strong batch.
