Deaths of The Silver Screen Deadpool II
Death Impends replied to Bibliogryphon's topic in Dead Pools
Only missed by 10 days. -
Correct. With Predictor's withdrawal now being acknowledged (if not yet updated in the system by Reptile), Bouquet was last picked in 2015.

My champagne bottle for her is Kissinger-sized at this point but I am mindful that's not going to be another 20-30 years.

Foreign Personalities, From Stage, Screen, Politics And Life
Death Impends replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
I've moved this to the Foreign Personalities thread as the other thread is moreso for complete nonentity cancer mums which thankfully is rarely used post-FFBI ban. This chap may be obscure, but he's had a Finnish Wiki page since 2006 and published songs going back decades. -
There's nothing against discussing YouTube personalities even if they're a sad case, though two friendly pointers for next time: Ideas for deadpooling picks should go into the "DeathList forum" section rather than the extra curricular. Additionally, YouTube personalities typically go into the Internet Celebrities thread as they don't really have enough to warrant dedicated threads of their own, so I've merged into here accordingly.

Whatever the records are in a field as I take active interest in it, feels all the more "canonical", almost as if they were always the records. Like how I didn't start watching Jeopardy until years after the Ken Jennings run. I took an active interest in the world's oldest people in 2006, so it really is surreal to see Knauss finally overtaken. All the moreso given IIRC in the early 2010s the world's oldest people weren't even getting to 115!

I think removing your team is possible but as it's not in my domain as co-host I'll leave that question to Reptile. My deepest condolences, I can't even imagine the utter hell you're going through right now. I've enjoyed your presence here, and while I understand regretting your deadpooling past at this moment, as time goes on I hope you don't kick yourself over it and remember our general sense of community and supporting one another in times of need, and that it's a morbid game but not a sociopathic one. Be well, and I hope you can find peace.

Times like these I'd be all "great " but most of this week's batch interest me personally, which does make it easier. Except for the poor CBBC lady but it only took 5 minutes to write two sentences about her to discretely cloak under another obit.

...and hit two like that.

Any life where Jack Cassidy kills you in Columbo is a life well lived.

None of the big British soaps have any real US cultural imprint ftr. Not said in the ignorance way as I always welcome broadening my horizons but in the "no she wasn't famous here" way!

Okay, forgot to update when I said I did but I will do so now. Pau Riba está arriba. Also arriba on the scoreboard is gcreptile, the only team to pick him. He gains 40 base points + 16 bonus = 56 total from the Spanish countercultural artist who was only ever going to be a viable pick in deadpools that accept El País. F1 driver Vic Elford was true to his "Quick Vic" name and left us in the earlier parts of the year. Zooming up the racetrack are 8 teams - 45 points for Thatcher, 40 for Funeralopolis, 35 for Banana, CaptainChorizo, and theoldlady, 25 for drol and msc, and 20 for Perhaps. Tom Parker was on 21 teams last year. He was only on a seventh of that this year. The three who kept the faith in the panto-partaking boy bander were The Unknown Man (30 + 12 = 42), Perhaps, and theoldlady (both 20 + 8 = 28). George Costanza finally has a full buffer zone from his parents with the death of Estelle Harris. GuyFromFuture hits his first sub for 25 points, though I'd advise against him celebrating with any french fries or potato chips in the near future... The second thrice-picked panto bonus of the update, the following teams are out for a smoke after the death of June Brown - YorkshireBanker (30 + 12 = 42), Great Uncle Bulgaria (20 + 8 = 28) and Exu (5 + 2 = 7). The latest update sees a smattering of teams get their first points, and gcreptile and Banana cross the 200-point mark and really start hoping for Vicky Phelan to hurry up. 1. Book 290 2. gcreptile 228.81 3. Banana 215.81 4. msc 185 5. Salmon Mousse 176 6. DevonDeathTrip 158 7. CaptainChorizo 152 8. theoldlady 113.82 =9. Pedro67 113 =9. Perhaps 113 11. maryportfuncity 112 12. drol 100 13. Kenny 99 14. Annami 94 15. Toast 91 16. markb4 80.99 17. Great Uncle Bulgaria 73 18. Torva Messor 64 19. MariNisia 58 20. YorkshireBanker 56 21. Thought I might've picked her. Mercifully only my sub, phew!

Well done The Old Crem for guessing June Brown. Thread closed.

She is List of the Missed then. She was picked by competitive teams in the early 2010s because of an alleged stage 4 cancer battle that later turned out to be wholly fabricated.
-
He's the type of name I'd likely have overthought and dropped if I was still playing competitively. Instead he stayed. There's probably always going to be a hit or two for me like that each year.
-
I'll update for the whole of March around Friday or Saturday. Just seems to be Pau Riba and Vic Elford?
-
Was thinking it's generally been a good time to be a name celeb from a US perspective, after the January craziness. Obviously that would be different if I lived in UK but I think Albright's gonna be the first time I write a DDP obit for one in a couple months.

George Montague's points still need to be put into the system, as a heads up.
