A humanitarian Ukrainian thread
Death Impends replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
You're more than free to express your opinions, Kenny, regardless of how much of the community agrees with you or not. "In WWII we didnt become refugees. We fought back while our cities were being destroyed. To escape war all they had to do was go to the country, they only come to the UK because of the free healthcare." is a valid response. But given for the rest of your posts you instead opt for REEEEE triggered bollocks you do not seem interested in engaging seriously. Cease now. First and last warning.- 37 replies

Here's the UK Yahoo magic for Jimmy Lydon: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/jimmy-lydon-william-powell-oldest-184546630.html

Looks like only DJ Casper and ONJ survive from my 2018 B team now. The former seems he'll be okay for a while, the latter will die some point this decade but which year, your guess is as good as mine.

Lauro Cavazos also a hit with Yahoo UK: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/former-texas-tech-president-lauro-192319895.html

Solar physicist Eugene Parker becomes the first faller of my space team this year. On two other DDP teams as well. -
Woah yeah wait a minute Mr. Postman, watch where you're driving

Some of my channels play Ed Sullivan reruns and I typically cap off my Sunday nights with one. A few weeks ago they played the Beatles grand debut ep (indeed, also the McCall and Brill bit) which was cool history to watch. Really striking how crazy the crowd excitement was when the Beatles were playing! I saw Mitzi McCall in a Seinfeld ep as well so she should def have enough for the US friendly UK rags whenever she dies.

All the wins since 2017 (a year in which Bert would have lost if he didn't pick 5-point Mario Soares) have had enough distance from the chasing pack that even if there was a relative low pointer in their score, it didn't ultimately matter. I do think we'll have at least one year this decade where there is a close victory decided by a 6 pointer, too early to tell if it's this one.

Just so he can properly be a hit now before the better obits come, Yahoo UK: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/racing-great-vic-elford-1935-131600227.html

Deathlist Dreaming
Death Impends replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Last night I had a second dream about Rodger Bumpass dying (this time of a heart attack) and being a key DDP hit. WTF????? -
He still needs a QO as far as I can see. Which should happen, I defer to OoO on motorsport matters and he had him as a guarantee for proper coverage.
-
Mario Gigante is what happens after he gets one of those mushrooms, I think?
-
I think of the living picks, Tom Parker likely ends up the most important name for your Drive For Five narrative. Which would be a fitting rebound if he goes, after the wrong D40 mixture scuppered you last year. The first time I kept a DDP pick I (on top of most elite players) was proper bored of (Bracknell), I got points with her and finally won the thing!
-
Figured your intuition on that one was golden after she stopped posting to Instagram entirely by mid Jan. Indeed, excellent "connect the dots" pick.
-
Locked for now. Can be reopened at some point in future if he becomes notably ill, but until then yes, authors thread is sufficient.
-
Buzz Aldrin was a triple stumper on a recent Jeopardy.
-
Finally, would have still gotten a QO without the Yahoo loophole: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2022/03/09/r-dean-taylor-musician-whose-song-ghost-house-loved-northern/

List of the Missed if true.

Indeed, only a pick in 2021 by one of the Crumbles.

Cricket Thread. Only Mad Dogs And Englishmen
Death Impends replied to The Four Horsemen's topic in DeathList Forum
I even recall seeing his name before. Wouldn't be able to say what sport he played but still speaks volumes when I've heard of a cricketer outside the forum! -
What sticks in my mind from when my high school history classes got to World War II is that they taught about the US Japanese internment camps. It strikes me as something lots of US schools would pretend never happened.

Notable Victims of the Russo-Ukrainian war
Death Impends replied to the_engineer's topic in DeathList Forum
Okay, now that we're starting to see more notable deaths, good enough for me to reopen. -
Shirley Hughes brings us to 25. Veasey QO and ISIS confirmation would bring us to 27. So February will probably be juuust short of "a hit a day" when all is said and done?

Another poster even privately informed me when it first became news just because he's my theme team joker.
