Ehh, it's hard to feel bad since I think I was overdue for a year with iffy luck. Any deadpooler who frequently gambles runs into one eventually. -

She wasn't familiar to me pre-illness, no. I'm sure if I lived in the UK I would've been well familiar with her as I understand from the UK posters here she's a household name over there. It's a valid point but I still make sure to read up on the lives of people I pick regardless of how I first learned of them.

It looks like there was a blanket IP ban set in 2013 due to Polish spam accounts. I went ahead and removed the IP bans since this was back when guests could still post and thus I highly doubt the spammers will return. -

Fourth man on the Moon Alan Bean was briefly hospitalized, though has since been released - http://www.journalgazette.net/article/20180511/WEB/180519962

gcreptile had him a few rounds back, but no takers this time.

I associate esophageal cancer more closely with stomach cancer than head-and-neck cancers. Head-and-neck cancers are among the more survivable, with there even being quite a few people going from stage 4 to sustained remission, whereas esophageal survival rates are much worse.

Blankenship a distant third in his primary with half the vote in; Cocaine Mitch can sleep easy. Probably will be Morrisey who wins the nomination. In other news, it's looking quite possible that North Carolina Representative Robert Pittenger will be successfully primaried by far-right candidate Mark Harris. Harris has a narrow edge with most of the vote in. EDIT: Harris's lead increasing with 4 precints left, so yeah, his primary attempt was successful. -

Probably because WV is a super conservative state (and even the state's Democrats tend to be more conservative, albeit quite a few don't actually vote Democrat any more) so they have to go for a rather conservative Dem to have any chance. Manchin's the last WV Democratic senator there'll be for a long, long time. -
Good Job to DDT, Morgan Job a hit for him here. Or as pointed out by Spade seconds prior.

I could easily say Scott Thorson or John Wicks for my biggest regret, but jokering Martin Crowe the year before he died, while not a bad decision on paper, actually cost me a title. So has to be that one.
-
Stupid as Palin is I don't think the decision cost him, would be tough for any Republican to win that election between the economic crash and how unpopular Dubya was at that point.
-
It is surprising that Overton waited until the second list. I mean he's basically Sri Sri Shivametimbers plus cigars minus jokes about misspelling the name.

MMMDP Form Guide #15: Joe Vento Veteran accordionist and ivory tickler who has performed with numerous industry greats, most notably Frank Sinatra. He joined the Three Suns band in 1953, a group that previously recorded the original instrumental version of "Twilight Time" (best known for the Platters's vocal version) - a time that Joe, afflicted by that double whammy of deadpooling favorites called pancreatic cancer and being 100, is in himself.
-
Might want to look for Rule 4 too. These form guides aren't actually entries to the game, rather a means of keeping the thread active before the game actually starts.
-
Should finally have an income soon so would have no issue chipping in.

Woohoo! My growing skepticism of Goodwin obiting and Nevin dying might have hit hard in the DDP but my different attitude to them in April 2017 was a nice little savior in here. Good game guys.

David Goodall John McCain Stefan Karl Stefansson Matt Cappotelli Leah Bracknell Tessa Jowell Lindy Remigino Herman Wouk Chiyo Miyako Ted Mack Denis Goldberg Kathleen Blanco Kulsoom Nawaz Le Duc Anh Bruce Lietzke Bishop Francis Quinn Jose Jose Charlotte Rae Joe Vento Luis Palau Ted Dabney (Atari co-founder) Hah, my bottom is msc's #1. Probably a bit too cautious putting him smack at the bottom, since video gaming is such a rough field for getting QOs and his profile is much lower than the other cofounder, Nolan Bushnell (100% guarantee QO). The video game geek in me meant I had to go for him regardless.

Submitted a team. Mostly names already mentioned hereabouts, bar the last one, who is a dead-cert risky obit I like enough as a pick that I had to use em somewhere.
