Toast replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Just for the record, they're wrong about her being on the fishing protest. She was somewhere else, and that's a different woman on the boat in the photo. No doubt she would have been there if she could, though. -

Personally, I'd deny that I went on a date with him at all. -
Brian Harvey? Yes, didn't he nearly run himself over?

Always a possibility with a disgruntled (and/or unbalanced) constituent. There was this, back in 2000. http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2000/jan/29/uk.politicalnews1

Then there was that fellow from East 17, was it. One of those boy bands, anyway. Brian something?

I went to church this morning (one of my three annual visits*) and she got a mention, which I didn't think was appropriate. Yes, it was sad and shocking, but other people have died sad and shocking deaths this week, so I don't see why she should be singled out. * Pet Blessing Service, Harvest Festival, Carols by Candlelight. 'Diana syndrome' innit Give it 6 months and they will be demanding a memorial, maybe a statue in Batley. I actually know somebody who went and REALLY REALLY signed the book of condolence when Diana was murdered died. I cannot remember the exact reasoning although if you replaced her words with 'what a load of old bollocks' it would have all been one in the same. I see the Church in Batley has never been so full. Amen At least people had heard of Diana, knew something about her, and many were fans. (I wasn't.) You are a hard bastard really, eh Toastie! I thought she was a sly manipulative ungrateful whining bitch. Lots of people have failed relationships and are unhappy with their husbands/wives. Most of these people struggle from day to day in dead end jobs, unemployment, ill health, or other difficulties such as ailing parents. I think most of us would find it preferable to be miserable with unlimited funds, free holidays, and opportunities to milk public sympathy. I remember a friend seeing her on the news and going "oh, poor poor Diana". I soon pointed out that Diana's situation was infinitely preferable to her own, and she suddenly realised that her sympathy was misplaced. -

Peregrine Worsthorne's birth is registered in Q1 1924, so that means he could have been born in 1923 or 1924. As you get 6 or 7 weeks to register a birth, he might have been born in December or even November 1923 and registered in Jan/Feb 1924. More research required ... Wikipedia says 22 December 1923 This article seems to confirm that.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

It may be corrupted; best if you uninstall it completely and then re-install it from Adobe's own site. https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html Solved it by switching to Chrome, which apparently has Flash built-in. -

I have registered ages ago, so it might be the ad blocker. They usually tell ask you to turn it off though. -

Honestly, we could hold the tournament at the drop of a hat, we would be the best at controlling hooligans, we have the stadium, the infrastructure and its been 50 effing years since we last held it.Why the f**k not? ( Yeah Chaz, because we are English......c**t! ) 20 years, remember Euro 96? Charon was referring to the 2018 WC in Russia.I remember Euro 96, I was 31. Indeed he was my bad. I remember 1966 so pardon my senility. Thank God, I thought I was the only one. But only just Toastie, only just. Don't push your luck, sonny.

I can't play it. It keeps telling me that I need Adobe Flash player, which I have. Downloaded the latest version, still getting the same message. -

Leaving the European Union would make the UK as significant as Guernsey, France's economy minister has said That's it! The final insult. I'm voting out. Your'e the one who's lost his marbles, mon ami. (Isn't Guernsey ours, anyway?)

Nooo, I have a couple of 1981 episodes to go! Loads were missing from 1981 - guess Dave Lee Travis was very busy that year. Peter Powell's jumpsuits were a sight to see though. The return of Kid Jensen, and through it all cuddly Richard Skinner. *rushes off to catch up* Is that TOTP? used to watch that while we were getting tarted up to go out pubbing and clubbing. Ah, the memories! Was it on in 1951 Toastie?? I don't think girls went into pubs in 1951. Not nice girls, anyway.

Aye, people will be jumping all over that now. Does look more and more like a sophisticated attack by a highly organized individual with deep and meaningful connections to far right groups innit. Or else he's a total nutjob. Shhhhhhhhh!!!! Sorry, my irony detector must have been turned off.

I only just came in. Proving that I haven't arranged my day around it. Edit - actually I think I'd prefer it if Wales wins.
