    Gerald Ford

I won't believe it until I hear it from a reliable source in the media.

    Charlton Heston

Was searching the IMDB forum on Heston for any news regarding his health. Someone wrote a post from March saying that an Irish newspaper was quoted as saying that Charlton Heston's health is deteriorating rapidly from Alzheimers Disease. Heston reportedly was spending all of his time confined to his home in LA in bed.He has some good days, but seldom recognizes family members and his wife Lydia is at his side constantly. The article mentions that Nancy Reagan has been a source of great comfrot to Mrs. Heston as she herself has been through this same situation.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2006

James Earl Jones might be a good one for the '06 list given his recent health problems and advancing age.

    Billy Graham

Prostate cancer? That's the first I've heard about that particular ailment. It doesn't sound good though. It sounds like Billy Graham will be lucky if he lives this year out. I'm kind of doubting now if he will survive long enough to be on the 2006 list. If that's the case than this is a major miss for Deathlist.

    George Bush Senior

Kitty Kelley's recent book on the Bush family claims that Prescott Bush (41's dad) died of lung cancer caused by years of pipe smoking. The book also claims that Pres was an alcoholic as well. Bush Sr. is not known to have those two addictions, but at 81 he is the same age his mentor President Nixon was when he died of a sudden stroke. And Nixon like 41 was reported to have a heart problem. So I think Deathlist should keep him in mind for coming lists.

    Gerald Ford

That's probably true. I mean I did say the next year or two (2006-07). And Ford wouldn't nessecarily have to die like Reagan did after a long illness. He could just die in his sleep or something.

    Simon Waronker

died Tuesday in Los Angeles at age 90

    George Bush Senior

I don't know why some of you crazy people have gotten this idea that I as well as Banshees Scream are DLO, etc. I have signed in and been a member of this forum since Feb of this year. It would be very ridiculous to suggest that I would make those posts under some silly other name. Yes, I do follow U.S. politics rather closely as well as looking at some historical and current figures. But I AM NOT Death List Boy and I sure as hell am not DLO or his/her reincarnation! If this fool Death List Watcher likes our forum so much he/she should just register and make posts under their legitimate registered name!

    Gerald Ford

Not exactly the appearance of a dying man? I'd say this guy will probably hang on a little while longer, at least another year maybe two.

    Gerald Ford

Is this what you mean? It seems quite clear that the medal will be presented by Gerald Ford. Perhaps this will not be a public occasion - let's hope that someone takes a few pictures of the ceremony! Yes definitely and maybe someone can get them posted on this thread.

    The President's Men

According to here hes very alive http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L._Patrick_Gray Thanks for that info. I wasn't for sure if Gray was still around or not. There's been little mention of him this past week other than his relationship with Nixon and Felt in the early 70s.

    Gerald Ford

I saw a short flash on CNN where Mrs. Ford is slated to recieve an award in her husband's name this Mon (6/6) in California. And the presenter is to be none other than...........Gerald Ford! Yes this is true. If he makes it to the ceremony it will be interesting to see if he's like in a wheelchair or anything.

    The President's Men

Does anyone know if L. Patrick Gray, the FBI director is still alive?

    Lady Bird Johnson

There's one here. She already looks dead! I just hope the old biddy kicks the bucket soon. All these posts and the whole DLO sh*t is just so damn stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's a nice thought (not).

    1. Jimmy Carter

That's the truth! Jimmy Carter was the most honest president since Harry Truman. Yes he may have been defeated in a landslide by the late Mr. Reagan, but he was a decent honest man who tried to do right. Our country has not seen a president of EITHER party with his integrity since he left office.

    Howard Baker

Fmr. U.S. Senator Howard Baker has recently undergone open-heart surgery and is retiring as U.S. Ambassador to Japan. Baker who turns 80 in November of this year was also the Republican co-chair of the Senate Watergate Committee. Another Deep Throat candidate?

Is that you Death List Observer?

lospalmas, you are just TOO funny!

    Billy Graham

Saturday night, there was a replay of last fall's L.A. crusade on some religous channel. I watched it for a while and Graham does in fact look really bad. He was sitting in what appeared to be a wheelchair behind the podium and he had trouble speaking. The 86 year old also appeared to be much tinner than he has looked previously. And folks that was at least 6 months ago. So I honestly don't see this guy going much longer. In fact it seems he is in overtime now.

    Nancy Reagan

That's probably true. But I'm guessing she won't live for probably any longer than 10 years after his death.
  23. GracieJc8

    Gerald Ford

That's open to debate. Look out for any posts about Lady Bird Johnson, I bet DLO will return to annoy us eventually. If DLO is in fact still alive (and I'm not sure myself), he/she could use many names. But the whole story about the sudden diagnosis of leukemia and then dying within hours, that just makes no sense.
  24. GracieJc8

    Lady Bird Johnson

True, any guest could just find this website and use those guises to make posts.

    Gerald Ford

That's true. Ford was not as well known as someone like Reagan. In fact he was never even elected to the presidency and had no following or adoring public of any kind. His administration had no big accomplishments on the legislative or foreign policy front. His wife on the other hand seemed to be much more well-liked by both sides of the aisle. But going back to his apparently deteriorating health, he missed another big event this past week. The 30th anniversary of the fall of Saigon (which occured during Ford's White House tenure) was covered extensively on the network news. Ford failed to appear on any of the programs to commemorate the anniversary.
