SC has definitely passed his shelf life on here. Just constant moaning now. @Paul Bearer, mod preview por favor?

The Wiki page AND the IMDb page for French singer Jean Philippe both state that he died on 9 January 2022 (aged either 90 or 91). France's 1959 Eurovision entry. Switzerland's 1962 Eurovision entry. I can't find him in matchID, though it's possible he moved to Switzerland, and their death records are notoriously bad to access. This is somewhat odd though I can believe it. Have we ever known a Eurovision act to die off radar @YoungWillz?

Andrée Desautels (wiki), Canadian musicologist and music educator, is the latest to join the 1923 births/2023 deaths but didn't reach 100 club. Obit (in French).
-
Edwin A. Dawes (wiki), known for both his career as a biochemist and as one of England's most prolific magicians, dead at 97. Dozens of tributes on Facebook from various magic organisations, but not an obit in sight on Google yet.

Doubt he has a small dick. His father was African-American.

Deon "Mad Dog" Hulse, memorable Jeremy Kyle Show guest who tattooed his entire face into a skull, died in his sleep on 26 Feb. Sun obit. -
He's worth more to them alive. Most of his revenue must come from media appearances and these online "courses" that he runs. I don't think you could describe him as a "sperm supplier". There are videos of him playing with his kids online in places (with the faces of the mothers and the kids blurred out).

Not impossible though, and he is a smoker. I hope it's not the case. Not because I like Tate – I don't. But he's a father to like 10 kids, and it would be unfair on them.
-
Guardian obit.

I wouldn’t call her an icon of British cinema. If you said her name to anyone under 40 in this country, most would shrug. If you said her name to anyone over 40, vast majority would only know her for her relationship with Gainsbourg and that camp (and shit) song they sung together.
-
But how tall is she?

FTR, Linda Kasabian got a Times obit. Edit: and a Telegraph obit.

Just listening back to a bunch of Pulp songs this afternoon. I used to love them. Got to be honest though, a lot of it is absolute shite. It hasn't dated well, though granted it was very good in its time.

The list wasn't that long, but you've clearly got a short term memory darling!

Jon Lee of Feeder killed himself in 2002. Stuart Cable of Stereophonics died from alcohol abuse related reasons in 2010. As SC alluded to, 3 Britpop era members of the Charlatans are dead (though one was a touring member only). The guitarist of The Supernaturals died last year. The La's lost a former member last year also, though he was a member in the late 80s (pre-Britpop era). I think that's everyone.

A name mentioned a couple of times on DL... an edit to the Wiki page of British actress Elizabeth Larner says that she died in Florida in 2022. Born 29 Oct 1932 so she would have been 89 or 90. A pretty big name in British TV and on stage over the decades (played a leading role in Up Pompeii! opposite Frankie Howerd). Though she later moved to Venice, Florida and fell off the radar. She lived there as Elizabeth Patricia Larner Calhoun. MyLife page here. Can anyone find a death record? @Gisooo, is there anything on Accurint?

Paul Berg, who was NOT picked in the DDP in this year, would have been a hit as he got a Telegraph obit. C'est la vie. At least Yang Chen-Ning is a unique pick this year!

Nowhere near, and never will be. Musk didn’t buy Twitter to make a profit.
-
Disagree with that entirely. Engagement up, users up, bots down, revenue appears to be going up (finally). Twitter has been down before, and it wasn’t a frontrunning BBC News story. The media just seem to love pelting Musk, because he’s controversial.
-
Obit as confirmation.
-
Jean Faut (wiki), arguably the most prominent living player from the AAGPBL, dead at 97 according to this FB post.
-
Last surviving cast member of that film (credited or uncredited).
-
He’s in Belfast today. Good enough for you?
-
As someone who has worked in that arena for 15 years, I can tell you right now he speaks absolute shit 90% of the time.

Very much fanny friends.
