Confirmed via her friend, writer Lesléa Newman, on her Facebook page. -
Lane's cause of death given as cancer by his Times obit.

I've uploaded his immigration card here. Confirms he was born in Buenos Aires in 1936.

Interesting. Not a current user, however. I'm curious to know how many of them are in reality left. I think it's just Paul Alexander and Martha Lillard now.

Bernard Kalb (wiki), American journalist, author, media critic etc., supposedly dead just a month shy of 101. Covered international affairs for decades for The New York Times, CBS News and NBC News. Younger brother of Marvin Kalb (wiki) who will be 93 in June. The IP who made the edit is based in New York and it seems like it may be legit. A pick in quite a few pools this year. -

If it's true, it's possible that we won't find out for months. I've seen one photo of Taka in her later years, zero interviews, and StarTiger reveals that autograph hunters have repeatedly failed to get to her. It seems that she's been very far removed from Hollywood culture since her retirement 41 years ago. -

Based on? You're not really going on much... Is there a way to use the geolocate function on usernames on Wiki or does it only work for non-registered IPs? -

Golden Hollywood actress Miiko Taka (wiki) and Marlon Brando’s co-star in Sayonara (1957), allegedly dead at 97. A pick in several pools on here. -
Joseph A. Hardy III turned 100 today, then died several hours later.

The ones highlighted in blue on this table are incumbents.

Yeah, spotted this ages ago. Seen both 1924 and 1936 being used for him. I think the latter is more plausible, don't you think?
-
It was a joke but never mind.
-
ArtNews? Or did he change the link since you posted that?

I think it’s “flautist”… and don’t ask me why they add an “a” when you’re talking about the profession rather than just the instrument. Our language makes no sense, probably because it’s a bastardisation of so many others.

On a scale of one to Rain Man, how bad is your autism?
-
Just like how they didn’t pick 1082 year olds like Olivia de Havilland, Vera Lynn, and Kirk Douglas?
-
Mirror obit. Surprised he doesn’t have a Wiki page.
-
Nah, you’ve literally complained in the past about how ppl keep talking about them. Then when there’s no conversation in this thread for over 12 hours, you kick it off again. You know exactly what you’re doing, Quim.

His autobiography is called “Spare”. I got the joke…

China have recorded only 22 COVID deaths since December. That would be hilarious if it wasn’t so tragic.
