Thanks for having another try at this. Here's the problem (and why a death can't be added to his Wiki) – 1) as you identified yourself the source in question is another type of wiki. Other wikis are not reliable sources. 2) there's another 2014 news article talking about him, his family, his current health here. It was updated in 2016, and no mention of his death was added – in the eyes of Wiki that is a reliable news source and it suggests he was alive in 2016, even though he had most certainly died by the time of the 2016 update.

Watching the BBC documentary/tribute to Alex Salmond tonight for the sake of form watching and to see who's absent. Participated: Tasmina Ahmed-Sheikh, former MP Geoff Aberdein, advisor Ian Blackford, former MP/SNP Westminster leader Libby Brooks, Guardian journo Gerard M. Burns, artist Roseanna Cunningham, former MP/MSP Sir David Davis, MP Kenny Farquharson, Times journo Kenny MacAskill, former MP/MSP Lord Jack McConnell, former MSP/First Minister George Osborne, former MP/Chancellor Lesley Riddoch, "journo" Elaine C. Smith, actress John Swinney, former MP/current MSP and First Minister Eilidh Whiteford, former MP Of the above, all looked good apart from Kenny MacAskill who looks awful for a man of 66. Perhaps not a surprise to see Nicola Sturgeon and Humza Yousaf not participating. A little more surprised to see Angus Robertson not on there. Absentees that I'm more interested in – Henry McLeish, 76, former First Minister Alasdair Morgan, 79, former MP/SNP Westminster leader/Deputy SNP leader Dennis Canavan, 82, former MP and Yes Scotland chair Sir George Reid, 85, former MP/MSP/first SNP presiding officer Jim Sillars, 87, former MP and Deputy SNP Leader Food for thought...

Cheers. Found it the other day and duly updated it then. Ditto Seeley. -
People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Think it's safe to say that this one is a hoax. Nothing in almost a week. He was a personality on a local radio station for years – they haven't announced anything. Also, the editor's IP was from the States, presumably nowhere near where Banas lives. They also put as the edit summary "performed minor cleanup" (which wasn't the case) – makes me think intentional vandalism, probably from the person who was behind the first hoax. -
Are you Crem's alt account?

Oldest Living football league players
Ulitzer95 replied to Octopus of Odstock's topic in DeathList Forum
Going to call total bullshit on this one OoO to save us searching. The editor in question later reverted his own edit (looks like it was what is known on Wiki as a "test edit"). That and Man Utd would definitely not let 3 weeks pass without knowing that their oldest living player had died. -
Alec Brader MBE (wiki / Hugman's) dead from kidney failure at 82 according to this change.org page. 2 matches for Grimsby Town in the 60s, but later got his MBE for services to teaching.

His Peppa Pig character, Grandpa Pig, will not be retired from the show, as Graham recorded enough material to last them until 2027.

Watched The Abominable Snowman (wiki) last night on Amazon Prime (I wouldn't recommend btw). Basically a 1957 British horror flick directed by Val Guest, and starring a mismatched Forrest Tucker and Peter Cushing. Supporting them on their expedition to find the yeti was the beautiful Maureen Connell (wiki), who is now 93. She had a very promising film career in the 1950s but it looks like she gave up her career from her children. Anyway, I looked around online and there's barely any trace of her! That was until I checked StarTiger, and it seems that she was still signing autographs as of April. Could die off radar, or could make for a cheeky unique pick on the DDP and score a Times or Telegraph obit.

Confirmation that Denys Graham has indeed died. -
EDIT: Never mind. I misread this.

Nadia Cattouse (wiki) being reported dead by her cousin on Facebook. Would have turned 100 in just a few days. A DDP pick for 2 teams. EDIT: I did not realise until just now that her husband was David Lindup (1928–1992), the professional partner of Sir Johnny Dankworth (1927–2010), who of course was the husband of Dame Cleo Laine, currently a DL pick! Small world.

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread
Ulitzer95 replied to M Busby Airlines's topic in DeathList Forum
Nobody above used the the words pedophile or children. The articles in the press atm make it clear that it was teenagers. They don't however state if those teenagers were of legal age or not (or a mixture of both). -
Here's her in her garden in 2015: Performing at almost 91 in 2018: Did a 90th birthday interview back then and vowed to continue performing, but I don't see any evidence of performances after 2018. Perhaps that's when her health began to decline? Looks unrecognisable in the above picture. A tinge of the David Graham to her. I say we keep her on the list.

A big name in Scotland. Surprised there's no Wiki page. My ex used to worked for Barrhead. Everything was a bit of a race to the bottom with them!

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

Can’t name him for legal purposes but this geezer may or may not have been in Corrie and The Bill. From that it’s not difficult to work it out. One to watch. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/31341686/tv-soap-star-arrested-suspicion-child-sex-offences/amp/ -
Can I say it in a non-polite way?

Interesting. Says they killed up to 28 people but only served bout 25 years in prison, both getting released quite a long time ago now. Is that typical in Italy? Asking for a friend of course. He has a list of people he might just invite over there for a "long holiday".

And pointless bumps to this thread. Having to pull out of Strictly over a cold or a sprained ankle does not = dying.

Andy Warhol (wiki, 1928–1987) was an iconic American artist, film director and producer who broke grounds in his pop art movement, photography and experimental filmmaking. His New York studio, known as The Factory, promoted a group of personalities, known as the Warhol Superstars. They were a collection of models, drag queens, intellectuals, Hollywood celebrities, playwrights and patrons. The Superstars appeared in Warhol's work, but also accompanied him in his social life. They complimented the famous dictum, misattributed to Warhol, that "in the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes". Warhol would film the subjects then simply declare them "superstars". From my list, looks like Ruby Lynn Reyner (wiki) died back on March 10, aged 76. No mainstream obits but got lots of mentions online, including here and here.

I don't think it's a dunk. Just trying to establish why you're so easily triggered.

Times obit for Wendy Noel, aged 95, entertainment agent. Also the "minder" of Judy Garland when she lived/worked in London... didn't do a very good job on that front.

That's genuinely sad – I've been there too. I also noticed that The Fulham Road Picturehouse closed in July, after being open for 94 years. Don't often agree with Hugh Grant, but he has a good point.
