Spammers (Spawn of The Devil) - Please Post Here

If that's possible, it should be done instead. Agreed that it's not fair that everyone should suffer because of one user abusing a function. I see he was asked by several users to stop this pattern of behaviour in an off topic thread several weeks ago. He responded but said he would continue. -

Seriously, I think I speak for most on here when I say this diego user is fucking annoying with his constant liking of historical posts. Can daily reactions be limited again? -

There was only one Thomas Heenan born in Scotland in 1932. Definitely him. -
Moshe Ha-Elion dead at 97.

Must say, I knew just about all of the 2014 UK MEPs. Taylor being one of the exceptions. Forgettable face. Didn’t do anything. He was always just kind of “there”. The other Green MEP at the time, Jean Lambert, was highly effective and worked very co-operatively cross party in order to get things done.

I've updated the ones on Wiki that are indisputable. I've left Tommy Bisset for now. 99% certain that it's him, but Croydon to Dumfriesshire is an odd move after you've built a career into your 30s in the south of England. It would need to be proven somehow. Sadly there are no newspaper clippings on him after 1960. -
So he only wrote fiction?

Tommy Bisset checks out, as per a match on Scotland's People. Ray Snowball... are you not skeptical of that one? He was honoured with a street named after him in 2001. Bizarre that he should die without a mention in any newspaper etc? -
Chubby Checker had a hit in 59. He’s rock n roll.

Hate it when ppl say that. “One of the first”. It means nothing. Could mean she was the first, could mean she was one of the first 10, 20, 30. Always left wanting to know who the first actually was…

Wasn't much help for many of these BUT I did find a newspaper clipping from the Cheshire Observer about Fred Sutcliffe's death. It's here and I've updated his Wiki. Cheers! -

I've looked extensively for all 3 of these. Whilst I can find Pye in the GRO, I can't find anything strong enough to link it up on Wikipedia. As for Durkin, newspaper obit here. Alas, doesn't mention age, DOB or that he was a footballer! I've moved all 3 to possibly living on Wiki until stronger sources appear. Hopefully Hugman's can verify + update but it doesn't look like their site is getting many updates recently! -

Someone go and phone TMZ claiming to be Pelé's rep and tell them he's dead. Just for the lolz.
-
The Independent link reporting him dead is still live. Probably because they’re so far in the shitter financially that they need the clicks.
-
TMZ have done this on several occasions before, but not for quite a while now.
-
Died in Wiltshire in 2013 according to the GRO, so lived to ~95. The other sister died in Wiltshire in 2018, so was ~93.
-
Marsha Hunt and Nehemiah Persoff died after him.

I could be wrong, but I believe Pierre Soulages was the last person born in the decade of the 1910s who was picked in any of the DDPs in the Noughties (2000–2009) to die. Not sure if there's an easy way to check?
-
Nope. And not the sort of name I would expect to die off radar.
