Must say, I knew just about all of the 2014 UK MEPs. Taylor being one of the exceptions. Forgettable face. Didn’t do anything. He was always just kind of “there”. The other Green MEP at the time, Jean Lambert, was highly effective and worked very co-operatively cross party in order to get things done.

I've looked extensively for all 3 of these. Whilst I can find Pye in the GRO, I can't find anything strong enough to link it up on Wikipedia. As for Durkin, newspaper obit here. Alas, doesn't mention age, DOB or that he was a footballer! I've moved all 3 to possibly living on Wiki until stronger sources appear. I could be wrong, but I believe Pierre Soulages was the last person born in the decade of the 1910s who was picked in any of the DDPs in the Noughties (2000–2009) to die. Not sure if there's an easy way to check?
