Technically Andrew Bruce, 11th Earl of Elgin (b. 1924) should be there. Anyone spotted him?
-
This came from his daughter, apparently.

Carmen A. Miró (wiki) dead at 103.

Supposedly Landis was born in 1936, not 1931. So he was "only" 85. There is nobody born by the surname Landis in England between 1931 and 1936, so must have been a stage name.

I love a good funreal.

I've looked on Ancestry. Cannot for the life of me find this guy's birth record. His early life is a total fog. @tracy, any thoughts? Edit: I see THR talked to Silva's son, so I'm inclined to say they're correct!
-
That's true, also Shirley MacLaine had a very minor role in it. Though I think they were referring to the "Ocean's 11" i.e. the group who perform the heist.
-
Oh FFS, not this again. Variety say Henry Silva was born 1928. The Hollywood Reporter are saying born in 1926.
-
All the details on IMDb are correct. A little more from Ancestry – her husband Mario Cueto was born in 1912. There's no death information for either of them. It's possible that they emigrated to Argentina, but their travel cards from the 40s and 50s also reveal they spent a lot of time in Brazil (specifically Rio) so they may have moved there.

Don't see her there. Searched under both Brennan and Savory (her married name by her second husband).
-
I saw that and thought that it had far too much of a tabloid feel to it for the BBC. It's as if someone in their news room turned their nose up and said "He's a former elite athlete so how dare he eat crisps and doughnuts!!"

Tommy Wiseau. No debate.

The Queue™ is indeed a Great British triumph. This is the Mother of all Queues. The Boss Queue. It is essentially the queue we have been training for all our lives. Now that they have paused The Queue™, Brits have taken it upon themselves to form a queue to get in The Queue™. This is because one does not simply pause The Queue™. We shall queue in London, we shall queue in the seas and oceans, we shall queue on the beaches, we shall queue on the landing grounds. We shall never stop queuing.

If that's what "good health" looks like, then show me bad health.

There's an attempt to list the dignitaries at her state funeral here on Wiki. It's far from complete as the Abbey can hold 2200 people but interesting to note that, thus far, no former British PMs or no former US Presidents are listed.

Anyone able to find out if Peter Russell is still with us? Royal butler who was a frequent face on TV and in print during the 90s and 00s (incl. an appearance as a guest on The Mrs Merton Show). He was born in 1933 so would be 88/89 now. Can't find anything recent anywhere.

Dorothy Harley Eber (wiki) died on August 16, aged 97, from pneumonia. Obit.

A sweet gesture but that looks fucking awful.

Never heard of him. But there's Eddie Butler.

Another actress who has multiple birth years floating around because of IMDidiots. For years 1920 and 1927 were interchangeably used, though 1925 seems most likely to be the correct one. Edit: This tweet from her actors association confirms 1925 is accurate... -
She was still returning signed mail in February/March, so it's fairly recent.

Nobody is being "forced" to do anything. If the Royals really aren't able to participate in something due to health issues, they can decide whether they wish to take part or not. I imagine he feels duty bound to do so. He was her cousin after all.

That’s very sad. An absolute legend in the bodybuilding world. Should get a QO.

I think some ppl were expecting grief, North Korea style. That just ain’t our thang.
