NY Times are going a step further and reporting he's been stabbed. Doesn't say how many times or his status.

Story here about Kamichetty Savithri's death anniversary being commemorated in June 2018. She was alive in 1995, so must have died between then and 2017. Anyway, another off your list.

Moshe Meron (b. 1926, wiki) is one to add to your list of Israeli politicians.

Updated for the sad loss of legendary session guitarist Bill Pitman (wiki), who died last night aged 102, according to this Facebook post from a reliable page. Also a DDP pick. The oldest living person to have appeared on a hit on the UK Singles Chart is now Gaston Bogaert of The Chakachas (b. 1921), followed by Ray Anthony (b. 1922).

I've checked all names to the end of "F". Nothing interesting in the way of off radar deaths so far. Supporting actor Gary Bullock (wiki) who was in Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me as Sheriff Cable, died aged 80. Singer Jimmy Brant (wiki) who dubbed singing voices in West Side Story and was part of the group who sung the Batman theme, died aged 93. I've skim read over the rest. Didn't see anyone we've covered on the forum before. Pretty boring list.

Meh. 18 from your list since the start of the year is pretty good. Might get another 10 or so by the end of the year.

What's wrong with you?
-
@Gisooo, you got lucky.
-
Is there any actual evidence that she's still alive?
-
Ian, is that you?

When 1/3 of all profiles on the DDP consistently have erroneous dates and places of birth, fuck knows why you've just suddenly started investing time in this.

That’s the weirdest statement ever. Sounds like it was written by a child, and what’s with all the exclamation marks? The man’s a silly twat.

Russell M. Nelson became the longest living Mormon Apostle in history yesterday, overtaking the lifespan of David B. Haight (1906–2004).

Cheers. Corrected.

There's no need to self censor on here Willz. Just called him the Earl of Fuckingham if you wish.

Daily Mail reporting that the Earl of Suffolk (wiki) died last week, aged 87. Held his title from 1941(!) after his father was killed by a bomb he was trying to defuse. Sat in the House of Lords as a Conservative from 1957 until 1999. He was the inspiration for the Jilly Cooper character Rupert Campbell-Black. Cooper and the Earl pictured together in 2016 below.

Updated for the death of UK/Sri Lankan singer Bill Forbes, who was a one hit wonder. Obit quoted above. According to posts on FB, he died on 7th Feb in Huddersfield. I have also updated the entry for The Flower Pot Men. Neil Landon died off radar in March 2020, aged 78. Pretty surprised about that because he was a relatively big name in the music industry. Another entry updated is Bern Elliott and the Fenmen. Alan Judge died in 2017, aged 74. Just found the tributes on Facebook now, and the GRO Index confirms he died in Kent. In the process of updating all entries as haven't done a search for any of these in over a year now. Done letters D–F tonight. If anyone else wants to help out, feel free. There will be more off radar deaths in the other letters.

I thought Nicola Sturgeon's 100+ pic Auschwitz photoshoot was more tasteless. The Twitter mob didn't even blink on that one, cos she's on the left.
-
My point still stands. The tweet is wholly inaccurate, and the user in question is weaponising a dead child in order to defame an MP. It's them who should be ashamed. It's not her child. She should leave it be. His mum was fighting hard to keep the case in the press and get high profile coverage. She was throwing everything she could at it. Photo is a bit tasteless with the smiling and posing but talk about blowing things completely out of proportion in terms of the Twitter mob and their faux outrage.
-
That photo is from weeks ago, hence the Jubilee stuff. The mother was aware of it and gave approval. Just another head case on Twitter trying to defame an MP cos she's a Tory.
