That’s accurate.

Never watched "Fat Friends" but I do remember the opening from flicking through the channels. They used The Perfect 10 by The Beautiful South as the theme. Strikes me as one of those shows that every middle aged woman loved and found "hilarious" and "hysterical", even though it was totally shit. A bit like Miranda.

Someone at the BBC thought this Kay Mellor lady is famous enough for a push notification to my phone informing me she's died at 71. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-61478428 Never heard of her, but her obituary credits her for kick starting James Corden's career. No comment necessary.

Always thought Lust for Life was overrated and overplayed. Literally hear it in every second film about someone with a dysfunctional life, and it's played to death in TV commercials. It's the type of song a middle class boomer blasts from their driver side to let you know they're a dinosaur but they think they're still "down with the kids".

Ben Roy Mottelson (wiki), American/Danish nuclear physicist (+ the 1975 laureate in the Physics category), dead at 95. Not picked in the DDP this year. Note: Mottelson was Denmark's only living Nobel laureate.

Well, we now have an answer, because I emailed the National Library of Albania and they got back to me: "Dear Mr. X, I trust you are doing well! I apologize for my late response. According to the search we performed we do not have any material for their death. We also inform you that all three political figures do not live. With regards Lindita Zhulali Service & Information Sector National Library of Albania" So, as we suspected, Petro Dode and Foto Cami are also both deceased.

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive
Ulitzer95 replied to Catherine's topic in DeathList Forum
Good spot. Whoever submitted that info clearly thought this was her. IMDb accepted it despite the different DOB. This is why IMDb is so dangerous as a site. I don't know what their criteria is for accepting new information, but it seems unnecessarily strict at times (i.e. when you submit records to them) and too relaxed at others (e.g. when you send them obituaries of someone with the same/similar name even if the dates don't match up). I'm very frustrated that they won't remove the death date for Simone Sylvestre, despite me asking them three times now. -
Hey, can anyone please tell me if edits to Wikipedia count as a QO??? Thanks.

Almond was a guest on BBC Radio 2 today. Said to Steve Wright that he's had COVID three times now and is still suffering the effects of long COVID. Sounded okay and is about to go on tour. Soft Cell's first album in 20 years was released last week. The Pet Shop Boys collaborate on it. Still, Almond is 65 in July and he's not somebody I can see being around in 15 years time for some reason.

I submitted this to IMDb, and they've refused it, because.. well because they're idiots. That's why.

The Cardinals Of The Roman Catholic Church
Ulitzer95 replied to Pagad Ultimo's topic in DeathList Forum
Catholic Church in Uganda once again having to deny rumours of the death of Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala. They say he is "alive and well". Hmmmmm..... I don't doubt he's alive but "well"? -

You're right, he should be on there. He's on the original list on my computer. I missed him it seems when I was copying it over. Same with the Icelandic name that arghton pointed out. I've checked both lists now and each has 53 so there shouldn't be any more names missing!

So... Henry Moore (99 later this year) is now the last surviving British Anglican bishop who served in WWII. He lives in Lancashire according to the register. There is one other senior Anglican clergyman who served – not a bishop but an archdeacon – Colin Stannard (wiki), who is 98 and lives in Surrey. Luscombe is QO territory (but sadly unpicked in the DDP). Moore and Stannard aren't.
