Update: quarters 1, 2 and 3 of 2020 are now up in the GRO Index. Finally!

No. IMDb is likely correct. I just checked. Her birth is registered June–August 1921 in Basford, Nottinghamshire, England. You cannot register a birth if the person has not been born yet. They were likely just celebrating late. When my sister had her 40th last February, she waited until the summer to celebrate it so that the weather would be better. People wait for all kinds of reasons. Maybe she had been ill before?

Scottish Transport Minister Graeme Dey (wiki), 59, steps down from his post for health-related reasons. The Daily Record says "stress-related" with no further details given. Hmmm...

Big Merv Shields dead from COVID-19 complications. Age not known but believed to be in his late 50s. Bass guitarist for neo-Nazi skinhead group Skrewdriver (wiki), fronted by the infamous Ian Stuart Donaldson (1957–1993). Posted this in here as I didn't think the Nazi of SS thread was appropriate (it seems to just be WWII names we discuss in there). This thread should probably act as a place to discuss the British far right.

Guardian obit for English operatic tenor John Mitchinson (wiki). Died back on 17 December, aged 89. Widower of mezzo-soprano Maureen Guy (died in 2015).

Worth noting that the Queen will officially reach her 70 years on the throne 2 weeks from today.
-
June Whitfield, Terry Wogan, Lord Armstrong, Sir David Frost, Hugh Scully, etc. etc. There must be at least 50 deceased.

Knock yourself out. Bonus points if you can put together a list of all attendees who have since died, and all those over 80! Should keep you busy

Doesn’t help that the Malaysian media keep killing him off in tweets then deleting them. Useless fact about Mahathir Mohamad – he is one of just 4 living people who attended Lady Thatcher’s funeral who were born before her. The other three are Baroness Jill Knight, Henry Kissinger and Lord Henry Plumb.

Sir David Jason turns 82 in 10 days. Whilst he looks quite ropey, his brother, actor Arthur White turns 89 in September. I think he'll go first.

I know that's what people are saying on social media but it doesn't satisfy my curiosity to know of Skip Moore's fate. He only drummed on their first release, got paid $25 and agreed to take no royalties, then left the group immediately. There is no mention of him after 1960. Given that the other 4 mentioned above were all born mid-1930s, Skip Moore could realistically still be alive.

Updated the entry for The Ventures following the death of Don Wilson, aged 88. He was also a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Now, the question is, is short-lived drummer Skip Moore still with us?

Here you go: Hollywood Reporter obit.

This one definitely screams Quentin Blake to me.
-
Very good list @msc, but Faye Adams is likely dead.

Purple House Press announcing via Facebook the death of Roger Bradfield (wiki), American children's writer, illustrator and cartoonist, aged 97–98. His illustrations look very similar to that of Sir Quentin Blake if you ask me.
