He's been a big disappointment for deadpoolers and seems to be pretty active. Could easily linger on into his 90s. I would vote to keep him off the list. He wouldn't exactly be a big miss either.

Surely criteria of said club states that you have to be notable first?

Richard Hickmet gets a full Telegraph obit. Every one of the 20 former UK MPs who have died in 2024 have received a Telegraph obituary this year. I'd like to see more MPs being selected in next year's DDP seeing as they're now pretty much a dead cert for a QO.

Incredible thread bump. Truly outstanding work.

Thomas Geve (wiki) dead at 94.

Who cares? Is he going to die soon? No. Is he ill? No. Off topic.

What are you talking about? He’s spoken about it on many occasions. I saw Tebbit in real life a couple of years ago shortly before he retired from the Lords. He looked like death warmed up. He’s on extra time. 6 months, tops.

Well that's just secured her position on next year's list.

They're not a broadcaster dear mango.

I will remind you that they were the ONLY broadcaster who speculated about the extent of the late Queen’s health, and they were proven correct.

Breaking story right now about him dropping out of COP29 due to "ongoing cancer treatment". He wouldn't do that lightly and I don't buy it's because of something scheduled well in advance – COP is something close to his heart. As I broke the story on his prognosis at the start of the year and said there's a possibility he may not reach Christmas, I think that can be revised now to say he will probably see 2025, but it doesn't feel like he's going to beat this long-term. I think he should be on the 2025 list.

Bravo @msc! Ronald Rich has always puzzled me. His role in You Only Live Twice was very well received, and you would have thought a 6'8 blonde actor would have found more roles! A year later he just disappeared from acting altogether. I'd love to know why he quit. Also interesting that we know he was born circa 1939. I'm guessing "Ronald Rich" is a pseudonym though, or at least it sounds like one.

Not talking about you, talking about law enforcement/prosecutors.

There are millions of thieves and rapists. Doesn't mean he abducted and killed Maddie. People just want an answer to this case. It'a understandable, but you can't pin it on someone when there's no real evidence of their involvement, even if that person is absolute scum.

DL talking points David Attenborough, Donald Trump and Pope Francis are amongst the dozens of people and organisations nominated for this year's Peace Prize. We'll find out the winner this Friday.

We won't officially know if it's a hoax or not until @drol appears and gets angry with you for posting it on here.

I think you're looking into it too much. Often when the police can't find the culprit in a big case they try and nail someone for it, regardless of whether they actually did it or not. I've often had my doubts about this Christian B character because all of the evidence is merely circumstantial, with the exception of his cellmate's testimony. Though the testimonies of other jailbairds can often be dismissed as evidence based on the fact that a) prisoners say these things about one another in order to get time shaved off their own sentences b) prisoners often lie/exaggerate their own crimes and link themselves to unsolved cases in order to give themselves more "street cred" in the can amongst offenders of similar crimes. Furthermore, the sketch of the man seen carrying the child at the time looked nothing like Christian B. A lot of ppl big unsolved crimes but I can't see how this one will ever be solved at this stage.

Funeral home death notice as confirmation.

75? This family definitely has a different form of progeria. From the photo of her in the obit she looks pretty "normal". There must be different subtypes, because the one everyone discusses seems to kill most sufferers by their early 20s, and they look like 70 year old children.
