Canadian artist Jo Manning (wiki), celebrated her 98th birthday last month... and then offed herself this month. Reminds me of the British-born Australian centenarian who offed himself a few years ago after flying to Switzerland to do so. Can't remember his name now.

So he's the one responsible for this abomination? -
Nguyễn Con a hit for me here.

Wasn’t referring to you.

I saw that yes. She seems like a right nutter. Amusing that some random wifey from Keighley thinks she knows better than his own friend and former colleague.
-
Both Chuck and Joe Brocato have reported his death on FB. If the above users think they know better, feel free to go tell them that their friend isn’t dead.

Oscar, Emmy and Grammy winning lyricist Marilyn Bergman (wiki) dead from respiratory failure at 93. Her older husband and songwriting partner, Alan (96), survives her ofc. Some of their most notable songs include The Windmills of Your Mind, The Way We Were and You Don't Bring Me Flowers. EDIT: Another weird Poitier-related death. They wrote the music for In the Heat of the Night!

Norman Jewison, who is 96 in July, gives interview about Poitier to The Hollywood Reporter. I would say there's a fair chance of him being around for a few years yet.

Martin Bell was on GBNews last night. Looked and sounded okay. Still carrying a little bit of weight, which is quite healthy for someone in their 80s, and generally doesn't indicate they're nearing the end. Anyways, he reflected a little on his own mortality. He's currently writing a book defending the continued existence of the British monarchy (his main argument being that a democracy is stronger with a non-political figurehead at the helm). He stated the reason he's doing it was that he fears the relatively niche republican movement in the UK will get a boost after QEII dies, and he wants to contribute to the debate, although he acknowledged that it will likely happen "after his time". Read into that what you will. I still think he could go on for another 5 years or so.

My godfather is Catholic. He's one of 15. Mental. -
The original source of the news of his death is Facebook, a post from Chuck Brucato, his close friend and one of his colleagues at Rare Earth Records (a subsidiary of Motown). If any of the above users want to claim "hoax", I suggest you DM him saying that and see what kind of response you get.

He had one "big" hit in the States, that got to #5 way back in 1970. He's NY Times obit within 24-48 hours territory, but not breaking news material. I mean, could be worse. Mitchell Torok had a #1 US Country hit and a UK #6 and his death went completely unnoticed in November 2017 bar a few comments here and there. To this date, no obit.

Look at the smile on her face. She's definitely ridden him. Joan loves the BBC. Evidenced here.
-
You're aware that when news of his death broke on Twitter, it was the middle of the night in the U.S? He's hardly breaking news territory worthy of journos jumping on their keyboards at 4am for. Give the media time.

She's got plenty more kids. She is Irish and Catholic after all... -
This is him then: COIA PAUL GIACOMO M 1955 644/16 858 Tradeston

Paul G Coia b. 1954–1956, resident of Kingston, Surrey. God knows why I can’t find his birth record though. Is he a Scot or a Pikey maybe?
