Brian Clark (wiki), British playwright and screenwriter best known for Whose Life is it Anyway?, dead at 89 from an aortic aneurysm. Unpicked in the DDP, but mentioned by @YoungWillz a few times before.

Updated for the death of Stonewall Jackson. I'm pleasantly surprised by the amount of UK coverage of his death.
-
That's not what I think. Please don't tell me what I think. Thanks.

Dying at 87 is unexpected?
-
Pretty sure the “committee” don’t look at either.
-
Agreed. Whether we’re presenting ideas for the DL or our own deadpooling teams, they belong in the same Ideas and Possibilities thread. This should be deleted and merged.

Fraudster Singh will be smiling with glee. The limelight is back on him. -
Another pointless contribution from you.

Fortune FitzRoy, Duchess of Grafton (wiki), being reported dead aged 101. Source is a tweet from Sky News journalist Alastair Bruce here. A Mistress of the Robes to Elizabeth II (1967–2021) and the widow of Hugh FitzRoy, Duke of Grafton (1919–2011). A pick for 3 DDP teams... (second pic is of her in 2019, still performing the state opening of Parliament)

Sad news, this one. Edward Shames (wiki), dead at 99. As you stated, he was the last living officer of Easy Company ("Band of Brothers"). PFC Bradford Freeman (b. 1924) is now the last surviving member.

Gets a Times death notice, which should pave way for an obit, either in The Times or in Guardian Other Lives maybe?
-
Kinza Clodumar (wiki), dead at 76. Means that no Presidents of Nauru prior to 2003 are alive.
-
His wife, Charlotte Mailliard Shultz (wiki), heiress, diplomat and socialite, dead at 88. EDIT: Damn. Ninja'd by @Thatcher
-
Took 2 months but got a Grauniad obit.
-
Do you fantasise about her when you're not thinking about the Queen's killer knockers?
-
Well you can take Wout Holverda off the list. Dead at 63. Seems Mr. COVID helped him along.

Amusing clip of Sher on the Dame Edna Experience in 1989. L to R: Sir Michael Gambon (1940–), Malcolm McDowell (1943–), Tim Piggott-Smith (1946–2017), Sir David Suchet (1946–) and Sir Antony Sher (1949–2021). Gambon worth a punt in the DDP next year I'd say.

Who cares? The reason why we don’t know is because there’s no interest in non-notable widows. Thread should get a dead tag.
-
Guardian breaking the news of the death of Jonathan Penrose OBE (wiki) via a full obit. Died on 30th November, aged 88.
-
Dunno if we still needed one for Gulpilil? But anyway... Telegraph obituary (very good read btw).
-
I wonder if ole Rolfie will be available to sing a tune at the funeral...
-
Led Zeppelin's tour manager Richard Cole (wiki), dead at 75.
-

Interestingly, Miller succeeded the Collinson twins as the monthly centrefold. Collinson died on 23 November 2021!
