Link. Snooze you lose, Shitehouse.

Now, when you say “one of the last”, how many others “ones” are we talking about? Edit: Managed to have answer this myself. I see Gardner was one of two last survivors. But I can’t find a name for the other survivor. Anonymous?

Very easy to say when you’re literally the user who proposes 250 names of “must haves” for next year’s list.

TOC means for receiving a damehood, not for dying!

What's the point?

He's obviously dead as the oldest man in the USA is a month younger. There are 1000s of profiles on IMDb with no death dates, doesn't mean they're alive, just means they're obscure.

Looks good. Could see 2026 based off that vid.

From her IMDb bio: "As she got older, she became a 'spankologist' in Manhattan in the 2000s where she'd have for-pay liaisons with men until her death in the 2010s." So dead. But a good way to go if you ask me.

The comments section on that from deranged Harris supporters is quite entertaining. "wELL WhY DoNT u EnDoRsE hArRiS tO hOnOuR hIm!!!???" Nutters.

Truly appropriate and amazing thread bump.

Managed to stay awake for about 1 minute 15 seconds after leaving the house then fell asleep. Slept throughout the flyover. It's nice for DL to be able to do some form spotting but I really don't think his family should have wheeled him out. I'll give him a month. Tops.

Makes first "public" appearance in 11 years. To save you all a click, there are no new photos. He attended a family wedding, which was strictly private and all guests were required to leave phones at the door, presumably so no photos could be taken. Still, it would have been the first time he was allowed to mingle with extended family as his controlling wife only allowed 3 people (herself included) access to him. Maybe suggests she's softening her approach. He'll be on Loose Women, I'm A Celeb and Celebrity Chase before you know it...

Yes, she's alive. Born Anne Veronica Wakefield in 1931. Later became Veronica Crawford after marrying actor John Crawford. Following their divorce she became Anne Richardson and attained U.S. citizenship in California according to Ancestry. Britain's National Portrait Gallery has a page for her and there's a comment which reads "Anne Wakefield is alive and living in Newbury Park, California. She is currently writing screenplays. In May, 2020 she will be visiting Guernsey where she was born and raised."

Ancram was also the only sitting Marquess in the House of Lords. The Marquess of Salisbury (wiki) resigned in 2017, and to my knowledge is doing fine. He turned 78 yesterday.
-
Shocked by this but then he was always a big guy. Ancram's death means that there is only one living person who was Deputy Conservative Leader. That's Peter Lilley who turned 81 in August. The party abolished the position in 2005 and have never restored it. Interestingly Ancram had 3 kids but they were all daughters, so his younger brother now becomes the 14th Marquess of Lothian.

John Amos and James Earl Jones starred together in Coming to America. Deaths happen in 3s...

Died on August 21st but family waited until today to announce? Selfish bastards.

Death notice for David Curson (wiki), Democratic member of the U.S. House of Reps for Michigan from 2012 to 2013. He was 75.
-
Every single obit says he was 60. The 1965 birthdate probably originates from wrong original research or IMDb. I would go with what the obits are saying.

How could you forget the worst DL pick ever… Ruby Muhammad!

Thanks Spade. Trevor J. Goronwy b. 1960, Northampton.

Trefor Goronwy (wiki), English vocalist and bassist who played with This Heat (on their final European tour in 1982), as well as avant-prog group Camberwell Now, died back in February at some point as per This Heat's Facebook page here. Tried to find some biographical data for this guy's Wiki page. He's like a ghost. Despite some pics online (and his own FB profile), there's no birth details anywhere. Can't find him in the birth records, the Probate records etc. I assume Trefor Goronwy is a pseudonym.

Watching the Jilly Cooper (wiki) documentary on BBC One right now and thought it was about time this literary legend had her own thread. Dame Jilly's age has definitely caught up with her. Whilst she can still get up and down the stairs, she's starting to look frail, hunches, and needs a cane to walk. In 2013, she lost her husband of 52 years. 3 years prior she suffered a stroke. The one thing she's got for her is she still seems to be crazy about cock, even for someone about to turn 88 in February. Still, based on her appearance on the documentary I'd say 5 years max. A good candidate for a future DL beyond 2025.
