Jeff Wald dead at 77. Hollywood producer and manager of Sylvester Stallone, George Carlin and Helen Reddy. Also the 2nd husband of Reddy, hence why I’m dumping him in here. Hollywood Reporter obit.

Hmmm thought about this one myself. The Taliban want to cement their power and tighten their grasp on the country. Though they are killing ordinary civilians who collaborated or helped western forces, I imagine they won't want to rock the boat. There's a huge amount of resentment for the Taliban in the country and taking out a primary opponent whose power is now zilch would be a bit pointless. Plus Karzai is an ally of the western powers. It would be seen as an act of aggression with intimidation as its purpose. Strategically it wouldn't make sense.

I predict the grim reaper is going to confound sceptics and be its most powerful yet like a super strong enema in 2024 moreso than recent years equalling or even beating 2020

Though if you live north of Hadrian's Wall, winter tends to start in September For all of my complaints about living in the South East, I can't fault the all-day-long 13 degree Novembers! This is a tropical autumn for somebody who lived for the first 23 years of their life in the North East of Scotland! -

Winter doesn't start until 21st December. -
Is he ill though? He got the Kennedy Center gong this year and is due to attend the ceremony next year. Keep off the List for a while I reckon.

Mustafa ben Halim isn't dead.
-
No, he doesn't. He looks like a man in his 69th year. He was on the telly last week giving an interview. Looked and sounded fine.

Full Telegraph obit. Also worth noting that Butterfill's death means there are no living former MPs for either of the Bournemouth constituencies.

Telegraph obit.

Hollywood Reporter, The Mirror, and Variety have covered in the last couple of hours. Turns out he died on 15th September(!) in Bath, England. Family seem reluctant to talk to the media about it. Won't give a cause of death, but they have clarified it wasn't COVID.

You just wheesht. I want to see us break the record again too but your enema enthusiasm is definitely tainted!

Crossposting, now we have an obit as confirmation. Spike Heatley (wiki), British jazz double bassist, died on 10th November in Dinan, Brittany, at the age of 88. Non-QO from Jazzwise.

Well @themaninblack has been missing in action since mid-2019 now so maybe not.

Sir Sydney Kentridge and Desmond Tutu are the most notable establishment figures of apartheid-era SA I'm aware of who are still alive. Both were anti-apartheid. A total lack of records for South African birth and death records online means that I have loads of 95+ SA names on my Wiki watchlist who are likely dead but there's nothing to prove it either way.
-
Or just apartheid-era?

It should suffice. FindAGrave is blacklisted because its user-built, like Wikipedia, but funeral homes aren't.
-
Pre? Didn’t it start in the late 40s?

No need to do that. Just use the search function. That's what it's there for. It's quick, polite and saves us all time repeating ourselves. -
He died on 20th July, obits started appearing online within a week and his Wiki and the Deaths in 2021 were updated by the 30th to reflect this. That's not "dying off the radar", it's called "we saw it and none of us gave a fuck to mention it on here".

The answer is no I’m afraid. As per the Silver Screen website she is dead but a date/year is unknown. If see died in the last few years, her death record won’t exist online yet as death records for the U.S. are only available up to about 8 years ago. You can either wait it out, or you can contact the Silver Screen website, ask them how they came to find out she’s dead and follow that lead yourself and do your own investigation. On a separate note, I appreciate the direct line of contact both here and in the DM you sent, but @gcreptile is correct, use the Deadpool Detective Work thread in future please.

O'Herlihy gets a Metro obit.

Just 50 days of 2021 left. When he was diagnosed at the start of the year, I'd have never thought he'd be able to get to 2022.
