Saudi media reporting the death of Prince Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. A minor royal by all means but thought it worth posting given that he was only in his 20s/30s, and no cause has been stated.

No official confirmation yet but social media posts suggest Dean Shek (wiki) has died, aged just 71. A famed Hong Kong film producer and director, but perhaps better known to Western audiences for his acting e.g. co-starring in Drunken Master with Jackie Chan. -

Sturgeon was on the telly this morning claiming that 97% of electricity in Scotland is directly sourced from renewables?! Honestly, if I had a quid for every time a lie dropped out her mouth… -

Scotsman reporting the death of Brian Adair, aged 86. Former President and Chair of Cricket Scotland. -
Practically sprinted up to the stage when he was giving his speech at COP26 today. Should be kept off the list next year.

Guardian obit for British stage actress Pamela Rose, weeks short of her 104th birthday. Debuted on stage in 1941 but only made her first West End appearance in the 2000s. Also an employee at Bletchley Park’s code breaking huts during WWII. Was a castaway on Radio 4 a few years ago aged 97 so should’ve been on our radar, but alas wasn’t.

Crass?! Bore off you spineless snowflake.

Your pick’s year of birth is disputed. No official records exist of his birth date. Hardly a level playing field. Still going to LOL when QEII outlives him anyway.

Believed to be 12th according to this. -
News to me that there was a U.S. edition of The Sun! How long has this been around for? I was aware of Scottish, Ulster and Irish editions.

He could take the thrown for one day and then immediately abdicate in favour of William but Charles is such an out of touch egotistical type he wouldn’t do so even if it was best for the monarchy and what the majority of the public would want.

Dennison gets both a NY Times obit and a Hollywood Reporter obit.

What? For being a wife? Leila Denmark developed the vaccine for whooping cough, Ruthie Tompson worked on some of the earliest and most iconic Disney films.

This is definitely him. This Gazette page reveals a match. I'll try and submit to IMDb.

Just to give a concrete answer to this, Mike Sadler is definitely still alive as The Daily Mail covered him yesterday.

A new silent film actor? This 2018 article says that actress Alma Carroll (b. 1924, wiki) appeared in a 1927 Our Gang silent short. Her husband's obit from 2018 mentions she's still alive and she appears in 2021 residency records for California. Hmmm...

Well that's me convinced. Tongo needs to be Clive Dunn's successor as DeathList ambassador.
-
Such sad news. I still remember back in the day, when Tongo was on The Word with Mark Lamarr. Emu bit him, despite Rod Hull trying to hold him back, and then Tongo went crazy. And of course, there was also the time when Tongo was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but instead sent an angry letter...

New video and ITV coverage of Eileen Ash on her 110th birthday. She looks okay. Noticeably getting frailer, and she's now in a care home, but still mentally sharp. -
For the love of god, someone please lock this fucking thread for a few weeks.
