Pretty sure @TQR is just taking the piss out of the obsessive "Kane/Lucile is now older than/aged/has now surpassed" type posts in this thread.

Some more of Jack Angel's voices: Teddy in A.I. : Artificial Intelligence Nikki in Balto Chunk in Toy Story 3 Mr. Johanson in Finding Nemo Thud in A Bug's Life The Radish Spirit in Spirited Away

Didn't voice Frieza in Dragon Ball Z, but rather in some of the later Dragon Ball series. In DBZ it was actually a woman... Linda Young (wiki). As far as I'm aware, all of the voice cast of the main English dub of DBZ are quite incredibly still with us, but a lot of the original Japanese voices are dead. Used to love DBZ when I was a kid. Went round to my neighbours house every day after school to watch it because we only had terrestrial TV in my house until I was 12!

Politely declines the Oldie of the Year Award. Pens a letter response, stating she believes you're only as old as you feel.

Film historians Austin & Howard Mutti-Mewse announce the death of actress Joan Huntington (IMDb). Died on June 26th in Palm Springs, California, aged 87. Roles included Bewitched, The New Dick Van Dyke Show, The Honkers, Bonanza and Perry Mason. Though perhaps better known for her decade-long affair with Orson Welles.

That's sad. Still working right up until the end. He recently signed up to a new Disney Pixar film.

Telegraph death announcement for Frances Line OBE (wiki), aged 81. Controller of BBC Radio 2 from 1990 to 1996, and the first woman to hold the position.

"The initial diagnosis was a real shock for me, but the positive thing is that we've caught it early and the prognosis and next steps have all been positive". That would suggest it's localised. The survival rate of localised testicular cancer is 99% according to the SEER database. He'll live.

Video here from June commemorating the 50th anniversary of The Comedians: Only Mike Goddard and Pauline Daniels from the original show are interviewed. Both look good, but more interestingly there's a clip in there of the show's producer Johnnie Hamp (wiki) just before his 90th birthday (which was in the first half of this year). He's credited with giving The Beatles and Cilla Black some of their earliest TV spots. Will definitely QO everywhere.

Great clip of the Terrahawks voice cast reuniting in 2009 and having some fun together. Bryer absolutely brilliant at the end. The voice actors of Terrahawks: Denise Bryer (1928–2021) Windsor Davies (1930–2019) Jeremy Hitchen (b. 1960) Anne Ridler (1930–2011) Robbie Stevens (aka Ben Stevens, b. circa 1960?) Hitchen and Stevens are both still active and were considerably younger than the other three, so there will likely be a big gap between all their deaths.

Was watching the tributes from both houses earlier to Sir David Amess... two things of note: 1) Lord Ken Clark, 81, looking slightly better than he has done in recent times. May see a couple of more years if he remains as active in the Lords as he was in the Commons. 2) Baroness Sal Brinton, 66, who was Acting Lib Dem Leader (Dec 2019–Jan 2020) noted that Amess regularly called her to see how she was doing whilst she was "seriously ill" in 2020. Now she does seem to look ok for now, though she has noticeably lost weight and her contribution to the House today was done virtually.

Edita Gruberová (wiki), Slovak coloratura soprano, has died in Zurich aged 74 (obit in German). Mentioned by @ThePrematureBurial in the Ideas and Possibilities for 2019 thread.

That's not what the legislation is about. Reddit... people in the public spotlight aren't abused there either. Online trolling, threats and targeted harassment occur solely on social media.
-
Says who? Says you? You can't police the entire web. Anonymous abuse of public servants doesn't take place on forums, it happens on social media.
-
Doubt it. The law that is to be debated concerns social media, primarily Twitter and Facebook, not forums.

Not colin cancer?

I've already submitted to IMDb. May get a Wiki page too.

Obit for Billy Robinson, aged 90, steel guitarist who played with Hank Williams at his Grand Ole Opry debut in... 1949!
-
Yes, I imagine he's long dead. He was very tall and it's rare for people of such height to live to grand old ages!

Updated entry for the death of co-founder and guitarist Regi Hargis, aged 70.

Updated entry for Emile Ford and the Checkmates following the death of Alan Hawkshaw, aged 84. Not 100% on the other three still being alive.

A much better MP than the two amateurs who succeeded him. Though granted, Chris Laws of the SNP is better than Jim McGovern who was fifty shades of awful. McGovern isn't the healthiest of individuals either and strikes me as someone who won't be around in 5-10 years time. Worth keeping an eye on.
