FB post announcing the death of Peter Hood aged 78, drummer for the Australian surf rock band The Atlantics (wiki): "Peter Hood 26th June 1943 – 22nd September 2021 It is with a saddened heart that we announce the passing of our dear friend and Atlantics’ Drummer, Peter Hood. Peter passed away at 11.10am this morning, Wednesday 22nd of September 2021 at Robina on the Gold Coast. Peter, who had been gravely ill for a quite some time and was under professional care, lost his battle with illness and died peacefully with Carol, his wife of over 50 years by his side. He was also closely attended by family members, and long-time friend and fellow band member, Jim Skiathitis. Peter will be cremated and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at the Gold Coast at a date to be announced/advised. Beats me. Somewhere down the line someone must’ve tried to put 2 and 2 together and got 5. IMDb used to be a treasure trove of erroneous info so I point the finger there. IMDb is MUCH better nowadays. They’re pretty strict eg they won’t even accept Toby’s tweets as evidence of an actor being dead.

Robert Fyfe is 91, born in Kirkcaldy in 1930. God knows where the 1925 date of birth originated from, but it’s wrong.

Just updating my TV show lists... of the 69 actors who appeared in 15 or more episodes of Doctor Who in its original run, I only have one blank now. His name is/was Dave Carter (IMDb). Last credit was in 1989, which makes me wonder if he died off radar. Anyone know a rough birth year either? @msc maybe?
