Sent home to die more likely, because he’s dead.

Great stuff! I will ping this to IMDb and update the list on page 11. Looking at Spokeo.com... there's four people called Jack L. Rader who are 84. One lives in Lancaster, California (likely him) and the other two in Kentucky and Tennessee. Probably safe to assume the Cali one is him?

Another is John Cruickshank (b. 1920), last VC recipient from WWII.

Scottish folk singer Jock Duncan died in Dundee on March 25th, aged 95. Daily Record. Press and Journal. BBC Scotland also ran a tribute to him on their travelling folk show. @msc @gcreptile, a former DDP pick. Should've taken my own advice and picked him...

Hollywood Reporter have given her DOB: Aug 5, 1924.

Knew it. Still, very sad but at least he didn't die off radar. Could someone be really naughty and please cut and paste this obit here (or in a DM to me)? Would love to read this without signing up for a £27 per month Times subscrip with one month free (then forgetting to cancel it in a month ). Edit: Got it, cheers!

James Bond 007 (Connery/Moore/Villains etc)
Ulitzer95 replied to Typhoid Harry's topic in DeathList Forum
Updated list for the deaths of David de Keyser and André Maranne. No nonagenarian actors with credited roles appear to be alive from the Connery-era now. Oldest is Bruce Glover... Crispin Glover's dad. -
Yes, I did spend a silly amount of time trying to solve this one with no luck. It's a pity IMDb don't cite sources. They would help both themselves (i.e. Wiki may see them as a credible source) and others (in uncovering further information) if they did! Any chance, if you have some time, you could look over some of the names in gold on some of the earlier years I did on page 11? Good to have a fresh pair of eyes look over these things incase I've missed something.

Some inside gossip I've received... Sir Jamie McGrigor (wiki), 72 in October, former Conservative MSP, lifelong smoker and big drinker, is in a bad way I'm told. Walks around with an oxygen tank. Somehow survived a bout of COVID at the end of last year. One to watch John Scott (wiki), 70 next month, current Conservative MSP and re-standing in this week's election. I posted last year the media coverage on how he had "survived" pancreatic cancer. I was skeptical at the time, because very few people (less than 5–10%) do. Told he's "in remission" but still being treated. Not in the all-clear and certainly not in the best shape. An aside... Donnie MacMillan is another name I've just come across. He's the oldest councillor in Scotland – an independent in Argyll, and he's served for about 40 years. Turns 94 in October. He received a British Empire Medal in 2019 and I'm told that he's not only restanding next year but wants to be the first centenarian councillor in the UK. We'll see...

Interesting that the obit says she was 96. Wiki had her DOB as 1932, as do most of the other hits on Google (though no credible sources). IMDb has 1925 in Illinois. The official records tend to agree. So 5, rather than 6 points on the DDP for whoever picked her. Edit: Hollywood Reporter confirm her DOB as Aug 5, 1924. -
Wow. Russ Tamblyn (86) is now the last surviving brother. Pretty decent going given that he's had a string of serious health issues for decades. Four Brides left (92, 90, 87 and 85).

A name from @Vaagheid's original list – Jane La Verne. She's been in limbo as a "possibly living" name mentioned on various sites where surviving silent film stars have been discussed. Well, I'm pretty certain I've cracked this. Took me a good 30 mins on Ancestry but I've found her records. IMDb says she was born as Mary Jane Kutzman in Redlands, California on 27th July 1922. Almost. Firstly, when you search for this record, nothing appears but what does spring up are other suggestions – various residence, census and marriage/divorce records for a Mary J/Jane Kuntzman/Kuntzmann/Kuzman (lots of alternate spellings, but most of them seem to be the same person). There is however a birth certificate for a Marion J. Kuntzman in San Bernardino County, California (where Redlands is located) for 27th July 1921 (one year off the DOB listed on IMDb). Thereafter she always went by the name of Mary rather than Marion in every other record. Anyway, long story short is she died in Orange County, California in December 1993, aged 72. Here's her death record: Name Marion Jane Langendorfer Pohl Mother Taylor Father Kuntzman Birth California 27 Jul 1921 Death 17 Dec 1993 Orange

Here's your answer @drol: Died in 2011. See this Facebook post. It has a picture of what appears to be a funeral programme.

Guardian obit for Patricia Brown, aged 103. A Bletchley Park codebreaker during WWII. Likely she was the oldest of the remaining names. I think there’s a couple of dozen still around though... all between 94 and 100. All QO material. Someone else should make a list of them. I’ve retired from DL list making. My work is very busy again now that BoomerRemover-19 is under control in Blighty.

@YoungWillz Robert Howarth obit from The Telegraph.

I was watching Steel Magnolias last month then checked her filmography and realised she hadn’t been too active lately. Was going to suggest her on here but then thought “nah you’ll look silly when she lives another 10 years”.

Three posts above you, old sport.

Obituary for George Crosby, who has died aged 88. Obscure child actor who appeared in several Our Gang shorts. IMDb.

“Cecilia” contemplating the idea of meeting “her” god a little sooner? Presumably she’s a Christian lady? Might want to check that scripture. If you kill yourself, you don’t win against god. You end up in limbo/purgatory for eternity. The tweet actually reads like “she” is advocating suicide for others on there. Which is truly a cuntish thing to do, but nothing Iain ever does shocks me anymore.

Finished looking through the top 500 profiles for "1926 births" on IMDb, and thus completed this project as I only set out to do 95+. A few things of note: *Just one death uncovered – Louis Massad in 1986. *Three in limbo: – Roark is an odd one. He could still be living. – No trace of Glover whatsoever. Wouldn't know where to start – Maranne I've also stuck in gold right now because I'm still not convinced that edit on Wiki the other week was a hoax. *Incredibly 66/70 are still with us! *Some health highlights: – Irene Papas has had Alzheimer's for 8 years now. She can't last much long. – Betty Lynn a bit more quiet recently. Obese for years, never looked a picture of health. – Val Bisoglio, Terry Kilburn and Jane Withers all looking their age now and have largely retreated from public life. – Tony Bennett we know about – diagnosed with Alzheimer's last year but we're told the disease is progressing slowly, so still performing. Could last a few years yet. – Carleton Carpenter, Armando Silvestre, Gene Shalit more names who have gone quiet... – Eugene Iglesias recovered from COVID-19 last year. Still, that would have given him a kicking. – Cher's mother Georgia Holt was very active up until 2014. Last photographed in 2016. Reportedly in ill health in 2019. Doesn't sound like she'll be around for long.

He’s a fantasist and an attention seeker. You’ve been on here long enough now to clock that, surely?

Was that diagnosed before/during/after Iain/Cecilia/Coffinlodger/Walter Mitty had that recent “heart attack”?
