@Octopus of Odstock Terry Regan b. 26 Jun 1926, Bradford, EN (Hugman's) As per Electoral Register: Name Mr Terence Regan Birth 1924-1926 Residence 2005-2006, 2008-2010 Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England And as per 192 People... still in Ilkley in 2020. Doesn't appear in Probates so still alive. ------------------------- Alf Horne b. Alfred Horne 6 Sep 1926 in Brixworth, EN (Hugman's) Record match: Name Alfred T Horne Birth Oct 1926 Brixworth, Northamptonshire Family tree match: Name Alfred T Horne Spouse: Audrey M Sutton Vaux Birth: Dec 1926 Brixworth, Northamptonshire, England (presumably says Dec because his birth was registered in quarter 4 i.e. Oct–Dec) Death: Jun 1967 Watford, Hertfordshire, England And here's that record from the official death index: Name Alfred T Horne Birth abt 1922 Death Apr 1967 Watford, Hertfordshire, England Problem – it says he was 45, and gives his year of birth as "about 1922". However, it wasn't unheard of for information to be recorded wrongly in the death index during this period – I found loads of this when I was doing my own family tree, and also British musicians. I still think this is him. ------------------------ Alec Montgomery Easy one. A unique name by English standards. Here he is in the Electoral Register: Name Mr Alec Montgomery Birth 1924-1926 Residence 2003-2008, 2010 Atherstone, Warwickshire, England Still there as of 2021 according to 192 People. ---------------------- Bill Anderson b. William Anderson 6 Nov 1926 in Lochore, Fife, Scotland (Hugman's) This COULD be him (via an Ancestry family tree): Bill Anderson b. 1926 Fife, Scotland d. 1987 Hounslow, England Check the death index and here it is: Name: William Anderson Death Age: 60 Birth Date: 26 Nov 1926 Registration Date: Aug 1987 Registration District: Hounslow Inferred County: Greater London Volume: 13 Page: 987 So a slight variance in the DOB (6 vs. 26), like we've seen before but my hunch is this is him. Probably worth ordering the certificates (the birth certificate from Scotland's People and the death certificate from the GRO) to see if there are matches (e.g. birthplace, parents names etc). That will give the answer. That's all of 1926 now done.

Bill Wynne (wiki) dead at 99 according to a Facebook post from his son, Bob. American photojournalist, author and decorated WWII veteran who most famously trained Smoky the Dog (1943–1957, wiki), a Yorkshire terrier who served in the war. https://www.facebook.com/bob.wynne.752/posts/10222311420487381 ...still won't let us embed FB... *sigh*... ... here's a picture of Smoky instead...

Birgitte Reimer (wiki), Danish actress who appeared in movies between 1947 and 1964 er død at 95.

@Octopus of Odstock Ray McKee Given you quite a few deaths, so here's a spot of better news. Ray McKee is likely still alive. Hugman's: Raymond Trevor McKee b. 16 June 1926 Plaistow, London This is correct as per the Records though they should add Essex behind Plaistow (that's where it was at the time... now in East London ofc) as there are other places called Plaistow... in Kent and Sussex for example. So he was still living in Essex, Romford to be precise, as of 2010: Name Mr Raymond T McKee Birth 1924-1926 Residence 2003-2010 Romford, Essex, England Doesn't appear in the GRO Index up to 2019 or the Probates up to 2021. Also listed on 192 People as still at the Romford address as of 2017 (doesn't always list the most recent years so that's the most recent confirmation I can solidly give).

Dole.

One of the younger ones is the one surviving Podgórski sister, Helena (wiki) aged 85/86. Also worth noting that they're still giving the award out but they've obviously slowed down in recent years. Also not heard of them bestowing the honour on any living people in recent years, just posthumous cases once they gather enough evidence to support a candidacy.

A good several hundred have Wiki pages though, so you can browse by categories or by the "list of" pages. There's at least half a dozen I've found who are living. Two that spring to mind are Andrée Geulen-Herscovici (wiki), 100 in September and Anne Beaumanoir (wiki), 98 in October.

Just seen this and you beat me to it! Looks legit. The IP address of the editor is in Brighton, where Maranne was based. Can't find anything on FB, Twitter or via Google. @msc anyone your end who could confirm? Hadoke? -
Thanks @edm88. I've updated the previous page on the Forum and also submitted to IMDb for approval. So far they've updated the Jerry Holmes and Jacques Roux pages. Still waiting on the other 3 to get the green light.

McIntyre was not a member of the Cabinet, but he was a "Cabinet level" official (as if U.S. politics isn't complicated enough). There are two other "Cabinet level" officials from the Carter era still alive: Andrew Young (wiki, b. 1932) Ambassador to the U.N... probably better known for his civil rights work Donald McHenry (wiki, b. 1936) Also Ambassador to the U.N.

Anna Koźmińska (wiki) died last month aged 101. Noted in her Times of Israel obit here that she was the oldest living person with the Righteous Among the Nations honour. A handy clarification as I'm pretty sure there are still a few older people on Wiki in the Possibly Living category with the title and I wasn't sure if they were still around. Edit: Pretty sure that the oldest RATN now is Józef Walaszczyk (wiki), also aged 101. He's commonly referred to as the "Polish Schindler". @arghton, if ever you get bored and need a good topic for a list, this would be it.

Hmmm... doesn't sound good to me, unless he has just been hospitalised as a precaution. The Mukherjee of 2021?

Warwick Davis not presenting Tenable on itv tonight. It’s some nobody from Corrie. Rumours on Twitter range from poor health to simply working on another project/timetable conflicts. -
Off the top of my head, I recall two fairly recent instances. Sheila Wright in 2013 and John Hollingworth in 2018. Likely others but I can't recall. It does happen. @YoungWillz I would be surprised if Howarth doesn't obit. Don't think you have much to worry about.

G. Venkatasubbiah dead at 107. The Hindu obit. -
@Octopus of Odstock, one more find before I go to bed. Fred Smith Hugman's: Frederick Edward Smith b. 7 May 1926 Draycott (Derbyshire), EN Ancestry family tree here has him: Frederick Edward Smith b. 27 May 1926 Draycott (Derbyshire), EN d. 6 Dec 2017 Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia The family tree even mentions he was a footballer and links to his Wikipedia page. Notice the slight difference in the DOB (27 vs. 7). Firstly we can rule out a mix up of different people. Looking at the birth index for 1926, there is only one Frederick E Smith born anywhere around there – birth registered 2nd quarter in Shardlow (then the registrar office that included Draycott). So begs the question of whether Hugman's or the family tree carries the erroneous birth date? You may have to order his birth certificate to get the correct birth date.

That's SEVEN UK MPs (1 current, 6 former) this month and we're just under 2/3 of the way through.
-
Impressive, bravo. I've also sent this on to IMDb with the supporting evidence and updated the list on the previous page!

The 3 big U.S. news networks streamed it live – MSNBC, Fox and CNN. And I believe the French and Italian news channels did too.

According to the Minder forum here, he died from COVID-19.
-
Really scraping the barrel here but he’d likely get a local obit if anyone wanted to play him in a deadpool... Michael Barnbrook, former senior Met Police officer and BNP politician announces he’s in hospital with Loeffler’s endocarditis, a very rare form of heart disease. 50% of sufferers are dead within 2 years.

Necdet Ürug dead at 100. Turkish obit. Edit: Died from multiple organ failure as a complication of COVID-19.

@Octopus of Odstock Not sure how this one escaped you tbh! Eric Searle b. Eric Frederick Searle 20 Jul 1925, Guildford, Surrey, EN (Hugman's) UK Electoral Register: Name Eric F Searle Birth 1924-1926 Residence 2004-2005 Guildford, Surrey, England Died in late 2015 as per the GRO Index: SEARLE, ERIC FREDERICK 1925 GRO Reference: DOR Q4/2015 in SURREY (759-1E) Entry Number 512994421 Edit: That's me now completed 1925. I'll start on 1926 later tonight or tomorrow. Trying not to rush this, as there is information out there but it's easy to miss stuff if you go through it too quickly.

I'm Ulitzer, not Adrian. I've just checked Scotland's People 2016–2021 and she's not there. Possibly lives in England now though. If you need further proof of her being alive, Talking Pictures shared a post about the docu series in January on Facebook and they talk about Dainton in the present tense...
-
Yeah, still about. Appeared in a documentary series in 2016. Here's a clip of her. Looking good for her age then:
