Time we revisit @Prophet's list. I think only Gerhard Sommer and Helmut Oberlander, turning 100 and 97 next year respectively, are the only two names from that list who are notable i.e. news of their death would be covered by mainstream UK/European/US news.

Throwing him out there as a DDP possibility for 2021 as he will obit... Bobby Angelo (real name Robert Hemmings) of 60s band Bobby Angelo and the Tuxedos suffered a big stroke in 2014 according to several posts from his brother on Facebook. He recovered but is turning 80 next year. Pictured below in 2018 with Harry Redknapp.

Thanks YW. I’ll update it later. Here’s a FB post from yesterday which gives us a death date of Christmas Eve.

I suppose that’s true, but stage 4 cancer nonetheless. Median survival rate is 3 years. She has been stage 4 since 2017 so has pretty much exceeded the median bench mark. 5 year survival drops to just 20% AND the chemo for stage 4 breast cancer is intense and can in itself cause the patient to die. My vote is to put her on the DL. Interested to hear what others think though.

Reading between the lines on this, it doesn’t sound like she’ll be with us for a whole lot longer. I would say she’s a must for next year’s DL.
-
Fuck knows if it’s true or not. Doesn’t seem to be.

Started on this private Facebook group. They claim personal confirmation and I’ve not known them to have gotten it wrong before.

Rumours also over Twitter that Chic McLelland (wiki), former Dundee and Aberdeen defender, has died aged 67. Edit: confirmed.

John Cremona (wiki), Maltese civil servant who drafted their Constitution, dead at 102.

You do realise that baseball, the second most popular sport in the States, is a dumbed down version of cricket? It's actually derived from Rounders, which is a children's version of cricket that gets played in all schools in the UK. Do blush.

He’s a crap suggestion. Still in great health, making appearances and performing.

Anyone know why he moved to Aberdeenshire?

Oh why not... Christmas Day! Leslie Phillips.
