Meh. He looks ok. I mean he is 83 in October. Look at Al Sharpton by comparison. Not even 70 and looks very gaunt. Can see him dying in the next 5 years.

I always associated Bardot more so with her animal rights activism than anything to do with immigration or race.

Did not realise he was a big backer of Jean-Marie Le Pen, as detailed in his Times obituary. France stands out by having A listers (or at least A listers of yesterday) back such causes. Delon, Bardot, Depardieu. Just doesn’t happen in the US/UK. Would signal the end of an acting career.

Looks like Karuna Mary Braganza (wiki) from your list died in 2019 as per this.

An honorary Olympian of sorts... No Wikipedia page but I see U.S. lacrosse player Bill Coleman turned 100 on August 8th. He represented his country at a demonstration event at the 1948 Olympics. Also a WWII veteran. Looked frail last year on his 99th birthday so perhaps worth keeping an eye on.

Abdulai Conteh (wiki) dead just days before his 79th birthday. The last Vice President of Sierra Leone to serve under President Joseph Saidu Momoh (wiki, 1937–2003). They were ousted in a coup in 1992. Conteh lived in exile in Belize for years, becoming a Chief Justice there, before returning to Sierra Leone. Would be curious to know if his predecessor Abu Bakar Kamara (wiki, born 1929) is actually still alive. -
