Thought the tabloids would have picked up on this one at least... Edna Moore was the terrifying mother-in-law from Mills Hill, Rochdale, who had 15 minutes of fame after forcing an apology from Simon Cowell when she appeared on The X Factor in 2006, aged 86. Anyway, YouTube comments from randoms led me to believe she had died in 2012 or 2015. Not the case. A relative on there confirms she only died in March 2019. This is backed up in the GRO Index: Moore, Edna / ROCHDALE / b. 1920 / d. Q1 2019. So she was 98–99 at the time of death. RIP.

One of the things I've learnt through this project is that it's not easy to mathematically work out someone's age from the higgledy piggledy English school system! I did find him through what you dug out though... I think! Birth registered in the 3rd quarter of 1952: BUCK, PAUL A. Uckfield, Sussex. Now that is the only birth of a Paul Buck occurring in Sussex (which was just one big county before 1974, rather than East and West as it is today). Google says his middle name is Anthony. Has to be him, surely? That makes him an identical age to Strummer pretty much. School entry can also depend upon parental choice I suppose, and then kids can get held behind/skipped ahead too depending on circumstances.

Quite a distressing clip. They shouldn't be trying to remove it from Twitter though. If more people knew what one looked like it would help save lives.

Says she was in it from 1995–1997, so aged 0/1–2/3? More of a prop than a character then. Doesn't have any other credits for her on IMDb. One has to wonder why the press have taken such an interest.. literally every paper have covered her this morn. -

Thanks. A tad confusing as RateYourMusic says Taylor was born 1954. Ancestry suggests c. 1959. I'll put it as "1950s" for now. Anyway, looks like the pair of them are going to be around for a while. They're big health enthusiasts.

Did a search and nothing came up, so I assume it wasn't mentioned at the time: Georges Gustave Hollande, father of former French President Francois Hollande, died on 7th April aged 96. Former DDP pick so needs to be added to the List of the Missed --------------------------- Whilst I'm here, anyone know if Zarin Musharraf, mother of former Pakistani PM Pervez Musharraf, is still alive? In 2014, aged 95, she was reported as being seriously ill. Can't find anything subsequent, though she'd be 100/101 if still about? Also a former DDP pick. -
To be fair, you're all mocking CoffinLodger but Jackie Stallone is a bigger household name in the UK than Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

Just announced that American canoeist John Lysak (wiki), the world’s oldest living Olympian, died back in January aged 105. The oldest living Olympian is now Uruguayan sailor Felix Sienra (wiki) who is 104. To settle a query from earlier this week, it’s also been confirmed that the oldest living British Olympian is 98 year old sailor David Bowker (wiki), who is a few months older than Edna Child.

To be fair, it’s reported that she died in her sleep. Considering she was 2 months shy of 99, not exactly unheard of at that age to just slip away, but I can’t see any evidence that she was ill.
