Joined this forum 12 years ago and I swear I have read this line at least once every 6 months. So bored of it now... and it's still not true. I'm watching the Wiki pages of at least 5 Tuskegee Airmen, and they're just ones of particular note. On top of that there must be quite a few others still kicking about.

Guys, thank you. This is great research. YW... I’ve added that birth date for Newman but stopped short of putting an estimated year in. There’s contradicting evidence out there. On the Marmalade website it says he was 14 when he joined his first band in the early 60s. Then there’s this... the only Alexander Newman born around that period seems to be born in ‘47. I can’t seem to find anything online that links him to Aberdeen or even says where he originated from.

Jackie Stallone is notable in the UK in her own right though. She became tabloid fodder after involving herself in the Sly Stallone–Brigitte Nielsen relationship and because of her appearances on shows like Wogan. Then she was on Celeb Big Brother in 2005 with Nielsen and gave us some of the best reality TV footage ever.

Him and Tosh had both left by the mid 70s. They’re not credited on any of those singles anyway. Bunny seems to be doing well. I think he’ll be around for a while yet.

Thanks YW, added! Found this also, which says he died in August. Pretty incredible none of their original or prominent members died for 63 whole years after their debut!

Can I switch my pick to Valery Giscard seeing as nobody currently has him?

Is this the same Giscard d'Estaing that was said to be in excellent health only last year? Elizabeth II heard and sent out the hitsquad. Nobody can stand in the way of her getting that top spot on the Oldest Living State Leaders chart!

Joy. Just typed out a huge chunk of part 3 of M and then lost it all because the page auto-refreshed due to an error. The perks of having YouTube open in another tab and the ads on their site slowing down your entire browser. This has happened in the past but autosave kicked in so that when I returned to the page, most of it was kept. Anyone know if there's a way to enable an auto save that kicks in every few minutes on here (kind of like on Microsoft Office)? @Paul Bearer?

I can explain this I think. The 1977 release was a live version. The original appeared on McCartney's first solo album several years earlier. I don't think it was released as a single at that time.

Another one of his, The Bluebird is very nice too. That's where I celebrated the arrival of the millennium!

This accounts for why June Brown is still with us. She's smoked since she was 16 (77 years) BUT doesn't inhale. This was also true of the UK's "oldest smoker", Winnie Langley who died aged 102 in 2010. Asides from that, Brown follows a diet, does Tibetan exercises every morning, only has the occasional drink, and takes 14 supplements/vitamins a day. So not exactly the binge drinking, chain smoking coffin dodger we're often led to believe she is.

Not a very enjoyable way to suffer through many of those 86 years though, is it?
