Celebrated Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) veteran David Evans supposedly died today aged 95. Veteran of WWII, the Berlin Airlift and served as Chief of the Air Staff (1982–1985). -
Possibly. I guess it depends on circumstances. Archie Marr was an early member and only played on their first single, yet he got an obit because he died in a house fire.

Updated, cheers. The Scottish Sun did an article on obscure BCR members a few years ago. They tracked down Ian. Random trivia – he also appeared in an episode of Friends: "I fell off my chair when I saw that. Then I thought, ‘Well at least everyone knows I’m not dead’."

Updated for the death of Ian Mitchell. He passed away in California. If anyone stumbles across a death date, please bring it to my attention.

I hadn't realised Mad Mohamed Al-Fayed had joined the forum. How's your health sir? -
Dude, we literally have a Donald Trump thread. You posted the same story in there 8 minutes before you posted it here. Stop being a bellend.

Screen grabs? Links? Don’t leave us hanging...

Read the article, not just the headline. It says he was hospitalised with it in June. He seems to be fine now.

Confirmed. @Sir Creep

Irresponsible of him to restand for election next year IMHO.

Seems to have passed us by unspotted: John Scott, 69, Scottish Conservative MSP for Ayr (since 2000) has "survived" a gruelling battle with pancreatic cancer. Worth keeping an eye on. Whilst his surgery has undoubtedly saved his life and he plans to continue with work, the 5 year prognosis is still slim for any pancreatic cancer sufferers. Some people can go on for a bit with it (Aretha Franklin, Patrick Swayze) but it's rare to survive it outright.

Worth noting that Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, retired from the Lords a few days ago. He recently turned 70, but for someone who is very active and has been an enthusiastic contributor to that chamber, it could be suspect.

Another obscure centenarian who was on my 1916 list: Robert Finkelstein, theoretical physicist, reportedly dead at 104. -
Keep wondering... will he get snubbed from TCM's annual tribute like Paul Walker was? Would be a pity. First major film role wasn't until 2013.

Blade didn’t reach a wide audience?

S. I. Padmavati dead at 103 according to this tweet. Edits to her Wiki page suggest it was COVID-19.
