Died today according to Wikipedia.

Definitely alive. Who's Who has a live entry for "Jarvis Joseph Astaire [OBE, 2004] b. 6 Oct 1923".
-
Kinky. Whatever floats your boat I suppose.

Jack Vitty is a weird one. Wikipedia uses the Post War English & Scottish Football League A–Z Player's Database to give a DOB as 19/1/1923. However, this Ancestry tree says he was born in 1926 and died in 2001. At the bottom it mentions he was a professional footballer for Charlton and Brighton. Further add to the confusion this article from 2016 that has a recent picture of him and says he's 72 (typo? should it have said 92? or is it a rehashed old article?). Very puzzling. -
“Retirement” clearly bored him as he’s back doing live entertainment. Another one to hold off on for a few years.

If we’re going to pick people purely because of their advanced age, picking one of the most sprightly 95 year olds is a bad idea.
-
Thats a very polished way of saying “I got it wrong all the other years so just as well the DL committee ignored me”.
-
Now you’ve jinxed it for him. He’ll be dead within days.

Thanks OoO. List updated.

Star Trek TOS actor David Hurst has died at 93 according to this German Star Trek blog. Also had a starring role in Hello, Dolly and appeared in popular TV garbage like Charlie’s Angels, Quincy ME, Mission: Impossible and The Man From UNCLE. An Anglo-German, he was one of the children saved from a most certain death by Sir Nicholas Winton.

1) According to the autograph hunters community at Star Tiger, they were still getting signed autographs sent back from here as recent ago as 2010 (would've been 97 at the time). Then there was a change of address and no successes listed since. 2) As for the FindAGrave link listed above, look at the page more carefully, the author has written "9/2019 Julie is still alive. She is Hollywood's oldest known living performer from the “Golden Age”." at the bottom. It's customary for many older people to reserve grave plots, and they are often listed on FindAGrave before the individual has actually died. 3) I've found her birth record. Can't find any death record in any of the searchable databases that match. I'd apply caution here. I think there's a good chance she's still alive.

Lord Northbourne aged 93. Crossbench hereditary peer. Retired from the House of Lords last September. -
Wasn’t sure where to post this as she wasn’t exactly Hollywood or character actress... Looks like American-British actress Diana Decker died just short of her 94th birthday in January according to this post. She was quite a big name back in the day. Looks like she’s been off the radar for years though which would explain why nobody noticed.

Actress Helen Shingler joins the 100 club. Also mother of actor Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slater, Little Britain).

He was the last MLB player born in the 1910s. Oldest now was born Nov 1920 (14 month jump). Also, looks like he died from a heart attack 10 days short of his 100th birthday. That’s a total c**t... so far, so close but no cigar. EDIT: an excuse to use this...
