Announcement of the death of Everett Kinstler, aged 92. He did official presidential portraits of both Reagan and Ford.

For completeness, Guardian obit for anti-war left wing activist Walter Wolfgang.

Thread updated to confirm his death. He went in for an operation... died of complications. Sad news. His website I use a lot as it is one of the most comprehensive and complete records in existence of Parliament, peers, honours etc. His site has its license until Feb 2020 then it may fall off. I might try and archive his work for reference sake.

Turns out Alan Smith was living, but not anymore as Brentford F.C. have just announced his death aged 97. They've referred to him as "one of their oldest" meaning that there's a good chance Tommy Sinclair and George Stewart are still with us.

Wow. Makes you wonder how many former state politicians there are in the U.S. of extreme ages that we don't know about.

News now reporting that it was a planned procedure and that TMZ got it wrong.

I stand corrected. She looks amazing.

Eileen Bennett a brave pick. Last evidence of her being alive seems to be a 1999 interview. Would expect she’s since died in obscurity?

Read the whole article before posting. The second half says: "Now, Gossip Cop busted this National Enquirer story because it is full of flaws which means it is false. Firstly, Angelina Jolie is not critically ill, and in fact, the report did not even mention why the actress is supposedly “on the verge of dying.” People may assume it is due to cancer since she said before that she has a high chance of getting the disease but this is not the case, she does not have a big C. At one point, Jolie was so thin that people suspected she is gravely ill, but this was only due to her eating disorder that was already addressed. She is not sick and dying, and this was confirmed by her reps." So basically they're just dismissing a National Enquirer story as bull - something that we learnt to do on this forum years ago.
