6 hits, 10 misses. I think that makes this a record breaking year.Never before has there been as many as 16 deathlist names gone before the end of august ! You don't quite get it do you? That's like going into a casino, putting it all on red, it comes out black and then saying "but I had red last time I was here". Doesn't count.

Another fantastic miss for DL, bravo to whoever it was on the committee who said "let's drop him" in place of individuals like James Randi and Tony Bennett who are in fine health. Especially given that there were repeated reports of ill health and a major hospitalisation last year. How many more misses than hits are we on now?

"7) Sir Sean Connery: Regarded by many as the best of the James Bond actors, Sir Sean’s lucrative film career and his politics have played a big part in his choice of residence. The first of two actors on the list, he left Britain in the seventies, moving first to Spain, then to the Bahamas in 1999. Whilst he undoubtedly saved millions in tax, he states it is a political move: “Like a lot of Scots abroad I look forward to coming home to an independent Scotland”." Hopefully that'll mean he won't be coming back then. I met him years ago too, bit of a grumpy old twat to be honest.

I wonder how many of them actually LIVE in Scotland. What's your point? Did you read/do you understand the purpose of the letter?

Wilko, why not?

I thought we had this twat blocked?

So, does that baton pass to 90 year old Leslie - Ding Dong - Philips, then? She sure was. And yep Leslie Phillips is now the oldest at 90, closely followed by 89 year old June Whitfield, then I think it's Cribbins at 86.

Edited list to remove the deceased - Little Jimmy Scott, Armando Peraza, Herb Jeffries and Joe Wilder. Also, it turns out Frances Klein died in 2012.

So "leading" that Wikipedia doesn't seem to know who he is...

Betty Driver Memorial Soapstar Superstar Thread

Article has been taken down by The Mirror, and hasn't been reported by any other news agency. Elaborate hoax that the Mirror bought into without verifying properly? -
I'd rather believe the film historians with the evidence they've mounted against one rogue site, thanks

Another silent movie death hoax: Pola Illery who was reported to have died in 2012 in her 100s actually died in 1993!! Unearthed with evidence here > http://www.nitrateville.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11693#p129641 Amazingly, the Telegraph gave her an obituary (which is full of the info posted on a random page online meaning 90% of it is bullshit!). Just shows they don't actually do original research! Her Telegraph obituary was used to award three teams points in the DDP 2012. What happens now?

Don't forget dear old Rupert now...

http://www.imdb.com/...019525/combined The Veiled Woman was NOT a silent movie. It was released in all cinemas as a talkie.

Third time lucky: Lupita Tovar NEVER appeared in a silent movie, dipshit

Martha Hyer died on 31st May at 89. http://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/local_news/old-hollywood-actress-martha-hyer-dies/article_5410fdae-1987-5544-989f-0efdbffe60df.html Once again, slow coverage.

Only 2 on that list have been reported to be in poor health in the last 6 months - Casey Kasem and Billy Graham. Wouldn't bet on the others popping it.

Never really understood why people centre around the "Greek" thing so much. His mother was as British as you get, he moved to Britain in 1928, served in our Navy and married Lizzy.
